09 Mugen kit part numbers.

Even if you find the actual part numbers, it is to my knowledge that you have to actually OWN a Mugen Fit or Mugen Civic in order to be able to purchase these parts from Honda. Proof of ownership, the VIN number, needs to be provided upon ordering.

FALSE!
a friend of mine who works IN THE PARTS DEPARTMENT FOR HONDA says that its not required to own a Mugen FIT/CIVIC to order Mugen parts

You ever come to think that it's your friend doing you a favor instead of actually following Honda policy? I know for certain that with the Mugen Civic Si Sedan you actually need to have the VIN number of the vehicle in order to purchase the Mugen accessories. This policy seems to have changed with the Mugen Fit accessories however.

NOPE he says its legit cuz its like your buying accessories for a car. call your local honda dealership's parts department n ask them it shouldn't be a problem at all.

That's because there is a real from the showroom floor "Mugen Civic", the parts you would be buying would be replacement OEM for the Mugen Civic.
There is no "Mugen Fit" available from dealers, just optional Mugen accessories you can buy from your dealer, which happen to include kits and wheels.

I wasn't even talking to you, hence the quote. I was talking to the other two schmucks who though a Mugen Civic and Mugen Fit where of the same premise.

I would hardly call myself a "schmuck", but when Honda first announced the 2009 Mugen Fit Sport it was actually to go into limited production similar to that of the Mugen Civic Si Sedan. However, Honda has apparently dropped those original plans, and is now offering the Mugen products as accessories for the Mugen Fit Sport which I was unware of until moments ago.
