If you look at the connector, there is only one pin in it. One needs to ground it to work.

Another tip: The removable plastic round clips at each long end of the panel are little longer than the rest, don't mix them up.

someone please tell me the part # for the replacement hood latch cover clips, i will be buying it at my locale dealer? i know online have different parts #.
