which springs to go with ??/
hey i had a question.. was wondering which springs are worth getting for the ge8.. i have only come across the tanabes , eibach pro kit and the t1r that are coming out on may havent found the rsr yet even though certain members have them ... but they all pretty much (generally speaking )have the same drop but i am concerned on the ride quality .. i was trying to factor the springs out by the price but i am not trying to go the cheap way even though the economy is messed up and money flow isnt the same, suggestions would be great , opinion and experience with springs..... thanx alot my fellow fit bros and sis

im leaning towards performance and comfortability .. main issue im having is the fact that i have a baby on the way and i want to keep a nice ride but i def want better handling and reduce body roll and all that shit

i would probably have to lean towards either the eibach pro-kit or sportline (they just finished RnD'ing it on my car)
I've had the tanabe's on my car and they looked GREAT, but with a baby on the way, i think that the drop might be a little too extreme for your case, but their great springs.
The Pro-Kit was a little bit more comfortable than the tanabe DF's but didn't drop the car as much but was still substantially progressive. Not as stiff as the Sportlines, but drop was moderate and ride quality was def there.
The Sportline kit was actually very comfortable when considering how stiff and compressed these coils were! I can honestly say I was very please with how balanced the ride height was with the Sportline kit and how balanced the car felt. Initially, i just that they were just another set of springs, but i found myself taking ramps a little quick and was surprised at the amount of grip that my car still had! (i'm use to having coilovers on the GE)
Hope this helps in anyway and pm if you have any other questions!

I have found Eibach Pro-Kit springs to be like OEM sport springs; very comfortable.
Dropped our W204 MB C350 Sports, GD FiT Sports and Toyota Yaris RS with Eibach Pro-Kit. If you have "upgraded" OEM sports suspension, you hardly can tell the difference in ride comfort. What you will notice is better handling and less body roll!
ABout 2 weeks ago, I was in a predicament on what springs to use on our GE8 FiT but decided to try Tanabe DF210 for a more aggressive stance/drop this time. Hope I will not be disappointed with the ride comfort. Decided to take the plunge on the basis of feedback from forum members.
Hope this helps.

Well I def appreciate the input and that was the idea I had if I went with the tanabes!! But how much of a drop does the sportline have ? I think with the t1r or the eibachs are gonna be my best bet for my situation cause if I wasn't having a baby, I wouldve been scrapping the strts of Florida and loving it
