Yeah, He's good - saw a reply earlier on another thread although I believe he's waiting to hear back from a friend or two up in Sendai which was I think the hardest hit.

As for the Fit - moving my straying off topic... back on... we had the wiper arm moved two notches in a quick stop at the dealer on the way to the mall. They installed the wiper a tad too low after the recall. 5 minutes at the dealer and all was fine.

i drove it from the dealer yesterday, drove it to Ponderosa today. realized the oem stereo is crap. Weak A/C like my Civic did, not near as cold as most vehicles i've drove. Will take forever to cool a car down in summer??
not complaining, its what i can afford and for what it is, is a good car with room to haul.
gonna window tint it darker too.

hard to resist wanting to wax it and whatnot, but i should know by now its not worth the worries and time to keep it looking new forever. I don't want to bbe one of those guys who has to park waayyy in the back in shopping centers and worry about scratches and dings which inevitably happen anyway. then cry when it does..no i'd rather kick a dent in it so i wont care no more. lol

Added some Seatback protectors to both the FIT & Ridgeline. For a 2-pack it was $5.99 at TJmaxx.

Clean seat-backs FTW

I'm sorry to hear about the family. Hope you all get in touch soon and everyone's ok.

Was the part above supposed to be a link? I'm interested but not sure where to look.

Oil change, tires rotated, and state inspection - FIT passed all with flying colors. I tried to convince them my Fit needed the LSM/Free Valve Adjustment recall, but they just wouldn't go for it...

Some before pictures.

At home, before going to work.

At a parking garage.

A couple of "product" pictures.

And the results!!!

Just after the install.

At home.

edit: I guess I should put up some info.

Conti ExtremeContact DWS 205/50/16 (as you can see in one of the pictures)
Enkei RPF1 16x7 43mm offset

The UPS label said the "package" (one wheel+inflated tire) weighed 36 lbs. One of the packages weighed 38 lbs (included all the nuts and some paperwork).
