Does it work as well or better than the oem stick...?

Oh definitely worse. But I live pretty close to the radio stations in town, doesn't matter to me. Usually listen to Spotify or YouTube music on the head unit nowadays anyway.

If I were driving cross country I'll put the original antenna back up there (I can't open the hatch without hitting the ducktail on the original).

Had Hankook Ventus on my first GE Fit. Loved the change in handling that they provided.

I bought an assortment of plastic body fasteners to replace all of those I've lost over the years. 2010 5-sp 130k miles. I'm tired of looking at empty holes where these things used to be. If the kit I bought turns out to be a good one I'll post what I got.

2010 Sport, Manual transmission.

Changed oil and filter. Replaced engine coolant, brake fluid, and clutch fluid.

Managed to get oil all over myself while fiddling with this drain plug. I'd never had one on any of my vehicles and had never seen one before.

What a goofy looking drain. I'll stick to the old fashioned.

What the heck is that thing?

I've got a dumb thing I did to my GE today: I was thinking about that Acuity accelerator pedal spacer thing. The one that's supposed to bring your gas pedal up closer to your brake pedal, so you can heal-toe like Mcrea. But I've got longer legs and I really just want all the pedals to be further away. So today I took the rubber cover off my brake pedal and damn! It feels pretty good! I've got some old skateboard grip tape somewhere I can slap on for traction, but for now I'm impressed with the difference removing that little bit of rubber made.

Had KYB Struts and shocks install on our 2012 Sport. Handles greats but as the gut who installed them said "it rides like a Fit". He's a honda mechanic cost me $440 to install them I bought the set for $380. 20 years ago I would have done it myself gotteen to old for an install like that. I did install a Jenson CAR8000 to replace the stock radio and aBoyo VTL425JT backup camera

I got the top of my windshield tinted 5% that ends just below the mirror mount.

Before I had a vinyl banner and it did the job blocking the sun 100%, but I prefer to be able to still see slightly through it and see stop lights.

oh and also the other day test fitted my jdp carbon lip

seems to fit pretty good, just need to figure out how to drill the mounting holes 😅

Installed denso ik22 spark plugs. Man....they aren't like changing plugs in my old cd5 accord, thats for sure.
Runs nice so far, i was already on a full tank of ultra 94 so we will see what happens in the next couple tanks.

like the car and color. the wheel / tire change over the stock LX is a plus. Apparently you are not in USA, but does this car need 94 Ultra (not sure how that matches with USA premium). I've had two GE fits for 140k miles total and never used anything but the lowest price unleaded.

def dont need to run high octane gas, previouslyI ran 87. I read through several old threads here on the ik22 plugs(one step colder). It seems in combination with higher grade fuels, after some time the ecu is kind of tricked into advancing the timing a touch making a small power gain. Most ppl who tried it said they went through a couple full tanks on high octane before they noticed the timing advance. A reputable tuner, Oscar Jackson wrote a thread on it as well.
I will report back if I find any difference. I drive almost 200kms a day so it wont take me long! :/

cool trick. not sure if the cost premium would be worth the power enhancement, but on a car as light and small as the Fit every little bit helps. Let us know if you can sense the difference.

Indeed, may not be worth it, but I'm willing to find out. The car still runs normal with these plugs on 87 octane as well.
i plan to tow a tiny boat so any added power ill take.

A couple days late.... Saturday i installed:
- painted spoon rep mirrors
- painted js racing rep grill
- bc racing coilovers
- new upper strut mounts
- Cusco front lower brace
- oem Honda right and left lower control arms
- moog japan outer tie rods (left n right)

Still need to make a few adjustments on the coils, reinstall the Spc camber bolts and get alignment.

So far the car feels excellent. X10 improvement.
