What did you do to your GE fit today?
I just got it!
I was in need of a DD. My father was buying a new civic. So I'm now the owner of a 2010 TW Fit Sport Manual. 180k miles. Bone stock. Nothing really wrong with it except the whole blower motor/resistor deal that everyone has had and the oil pan bolt was stripped by dealer and leaks a tad.
Nothing I have ever stays stock.
Already got both of the cusco under braces coming from member here,Skunk2 shift knob, and new wipers. Tint will be this week.
Today I clayed the hood, front bumper, mirrors and roof/wing. Cut, buffed and waxed the hood. Waxed the front pumper, mirrors and wing. Cut buffing and waxing roof tomorrow morning. The hood and the roof had some good oxidation along with the headlights. Already fixed the headlights. I will eventually clay the whole car and buff where needed and wax. It's been outside its entire life. Luckily I have a 3rd garage which was empty
On next oil change I plan to order a fumoto valve, rethread the pan and red rtv the valve in place to cure leaking. Gonna get a new aem dry air filter.
Bfg comp2 a/s will be ordered soon along with a progress rear bar.
Koni STR lowering kit and enkei rpf1's this coming spring and probably some Wilwood dpha calipers/stainless lines and fluid flush. Cusco strut tower bars.
Just wanting a fun reliable DD that I can autocross if I get bored in my weekend car which is currently a 2016 Bmw 340i M sport, track package car that I'm looking to get rid of for a new camaro ss 1le for hpde.
Then we'll see from there.

Kipperskipper Totaled
My '07 Sport was T-boned: seat and side curtain airbags deployed, CV joint broken (pulled completely out of transmission, 3" hole on the INSIDE of the impacted wheel, control arm broken. The front wheel was just barely hanging on, I had to have a roll back pick up the car and move it 1 block to my driveway! LOL! It was considered a total by the insurance company, but I found it on Craigslist, repaired/for sale w/ a salvage title! I remember a Youtube video showing a Fit smashed WORSE than yours being repaired. iF SOMEONE THINKS THEY CAN MAKE MONEY BY SALVAGING IT, IT WILL PROBABLY HAPPEN! Best of luck to you!
Had to have this replaced today:
There was a crack in one of the welds, filling the engine bay with exhaust. If I had the vents on "fresh" air the exhaust odour came right into the car. It had to to be shipped from a Honda warehouse in NJ- none to be had on the west coast.....

Finally succeed in using my ATEQ VT15 TPMS Activator tools in combination with my Honda Diagnostic System (HIM) Tools to relearn my new TPMS sensor...
no more TPMS warning after a month driving with it on
So they key are:
1. Download and Upgrade the software on the ATEQ VT15 TPMS Activator tools as soon as you received it before you use it, otherwise, it will not recognize some TPMS sensor.
2. You need to use the A/C adaptor on the Honda Diagnostic System (HIM) tools plug in because this learning process takes time and it looks like it might drain the battery enough that at one point I can't connect my Honda Diagnostic System with the car.
Long time ago, when I just install my first wheel with new TPMS sensor,
I had to go to Discount Tire shop to have them reset it and they charge me something like $40 plus tax...
The ATEQ VT15 tools it self is less then $100... and you can use this tools as many times as you need to. (as long as you have the Honda Diagnostic System tools which you can buy very cheap on eBay and had many more use).

Good find... I'm not looking forward to TPMS issues in my 2009 Fit and glad they eliminated this sensor in the GK (2015+) revision.

Holy eff BMW, just when I thought you've given us some room to catch up, you rocket off again. Surprised you just didn't go with an all-in-one digi-cluster or something like it.
Question, of alllllll that is pictured, what phone holder are you using? Haha

First of all, here is the link to the iPhone holder that I bought from Amazon, very good quality and very good price
and yes, I will use iPad to control everything...
Second,
I just finished wiring up the "basic system" just so I can hear music again...
and even with just this basic system,
immediately, I can hear the difference... it is really night and day...
All this time, I always use a cheap bluetooth module to my iPhone as source music connected to the Honda Stock Head Unit Aux In...
It's been a long long time since I have a sound system this nice...
and this is still with stock Head Unit and Stock speaker...
This past 10 years had been very hard for me...
and to be able to listen to a very nice sounding sound system again
It literally bring smoke in my eyes...
I am very happy and emotional now...
but it's true that as long as you don't give up,
you will get there somehow

It's alive
oh by the way,
This Sony RSX-GS9 had very few button on the faceplate and very small display...
because... all the advance (and simple) function suppose to be controlled using an app on either iPhone or iPad...
I just try the app and...
all I can say is...
Money Doesn't Lie...

SO many distractions! How are you paying attention to the road?
JK Alpina. But I think you have more gauges than the apollo rocket. LOL
Those bottom ones under the steering wheel are nuts. Don't they get in your way?

Yes, sometimes I found my self looking at my gauges a bit too long...
The bottom gauges under the steering wheel actually are not get in the way, because they are deeper (farther from my knee)
My Paddle shifter (with the extension) is actually get in the way,
in fact my right paddle shifter switch are broken now because one time I turn the steering wheel fast and my knee was kind of high... so my knee hit the paddle shifter and broke it...
I already have replacement paddle shifter switch... I just need to find time to take apart the steering wheel to install it...
