Looks super clean! Any mods in mind besides the tint? I got some swift springs laying around

Thanks, this one is super clean and looks new inside, out and engine compartment. No dents or wheel scrapes either.

Already did:
  • LEDs here and there
  • new leather shift knob
  • leather brake handle
  • replacement shift boot
  • partial DIY headlamp protection (more film on the way for semi-botched redo plus taillights)
  • front seat height increase
Coming:
  • internal lighting parts on the way for ambient lighting by the cup holder
  • and blue floor lights on the dome circuit

For now, external look beyond tint will probably be unchanged except maybe some minor HP increase stickers here or there.

Ah fair enough. So now you drive (2) Fits? a GK and GE? and wow...just saw you had a NSX for a bit, that must've been fun.

Yes, fun! Two Fits.. Old(er) age has brought out the Frugal!

Fiesta ST is seriously nearly as fun driving as the NSX at half the price and way more practical for hauling road/mountain bikes and as a DD and for carrying 2+ peoples too.

The new (to us) GE will serve our remaining college student for a few years with lots of cargo capacity for dorm move-ins/outs.

Welcome to the forum!

Clean looking Fit/Jazz. Does it have the JDM front end in Jamaica? Sure looks like it does.

Love my BC racing coilovers. Man with that 8" width and offset, you have to roll and pull huh?

ya the coils ride rly nice however the only issue i have tho is a clunking sound in the rear....had the fenders rolled and pulled them twice so far but i still get some rubbing on rly bad roads (which we have plenty of here)...i assume its because of the 50 series tires tho

I'm just here waiting for my strut bars... I did wash the car this morning.

On another note; I accepted a job in Corpus Christi, TX this week. We're just ironing out the PCS money. I suspect in the next 2-3 months I should have everything ready to roll.

Been working on restoring a vintage wooden desk I bought on craigslist for dirt cheap. Currently coating it. Meanwhile, between coats of polyurethane I figured I could make my rear valence/license plate garnish.

More detailed instructions and additional pics here https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...ml#post1372687

Sourced the 1/8" black acrylic locally at a place I used to buy my plexiglas from when I used to build custom reptile terrariums and custom cases/cabinets.

(2) 24" x 8.25" x 1/8". $15 for both sheets. Bought two in case I messed up...which I didn't

Anyhow, here is the final result. About an hour and a half of work. Not bad for ~$12 in materials ($7.50 for one sheet and needed double sided 3m tape $5).

Now I REALLY need a nice license plate frame to complete it.

Nicely done!! Looks good!

You should make the other valence and sell it. A little extra cash in your pocket never hurts
