What did you do to your GE fit today?
BMWAlpina,
A projector retrofit will complete your car. JBweld not required if your using something that will just drop in like an H1 or D2S. However everything else will need cutting hence the JBWeld.
But, there are some retrofitters out there that make custom brackets now for headlights that minimize cutting, and make it easier also in the end to change out the projector to something else. Go on FB and check out a group called Headlight Junkies.

was out of town
1) Today I corrected the preload on my coilovers and dropped the front basically as low as the Buddy Clubs will allow without taking collars off.
2) Reinstalled the stock exhaust, loving the quietness again.
3) Changed the oil, went to full synthetic Mobil 1.
4) Got my state safety inspection completed.
So it was a pretty busy morning/afternoon.

So after some thinking I thought it was also kinda ricey. What's the point of the noise if it doesn't make me any faster? Stock muffler went back on, much happier with it now. Guess I'm just getting older.
Side note, there's a little moonshine shop near my place-- always wanted to try what they have haha.
Managed to get my hands on a sport bumper locally in pearl black, I inmediately dropped it off at the paint shop and will pick it up on Monday. I now need to get the lower grill and both foglights which might take me a few weeks. (really excited)
Exploring my lower grill options beside the OEM one, looking for a plastic mesh grill; think it will go well with the grill emblem. Believe the dimensions for the OEM grill are 93.98cm x 17.78cm x 10.16cm; and the one i'm listing below is bigger: I want to use some leftover to cover the foglight part while I wait for them to arrive.

Found an OEM one for only $30:

Recommendations ?

It'll be ready by then haha-- got all the time in the world at the moment, I'm officially done with school
Ugh. When I have the Mini wheels on, people seem to think that's the queue that I want to race everyone off the lights. It always seems to be the diesel rig rockets that want to race up here (rig rocket: An obnoxiously large, usually diesel truck with a lift kit, a metric ton of chrome bumpers, large wheels and tires, stacks and an off the shelf tune that's ultimately 20% slower than a stock truck and makes 1000% more black smoke).

We call them compensators. Giant exhaust coming through the bed, large tires excessive plumes of smoke. Must be compensating for something.
Finally, after 3 years of planning
