What did you do to your GE fit today?
Ordered a JDM front grille, been wanting one every since I first saw it! I have gotten the Piaa horns, and the lamination for the fog lights. Already installed the EZ Lip. Will install horn upon arrival of the grille! Too bad I didn't find the grille until AFTER the unseasonably warm December weather, LOL!!
I had to drill holes in tailgate, and then seal the gaps between the spoiler and the tailgate with black silicone sealant. it worked great, and it looked pretty good, but i took it off, and wouldn't recommend it. also if you want you can have my GD mugen replica it is CF you can see it on my car in some of the pics from the page on my sig.
i recommend just buying the spoiler you like for the GE. or go no spoiler at all! the fit looks great without (if lowered)

But who knows maybe with some cleverness and engineering it might work. If it does you will be Fit famous
i know the GD mugen replica will not fit a GE with just tape.

Not sure what to do about it.
Installed JDM Honda Fit Illuminated Door Sill + Ambient Light + Illuminated Cup Holder.
Need to make the wire to the Driver Side/Left Side Illuminated door sill longer because this kit was design for JDM Right Hand Side,
so have to solder an extension.
and since I already have the Red JDM Ambient Light up front,
I decide to also get an extension and run the blue LED ambient light
that came with this kit to the side of each rear seat for REAR LED Ambient Light.
I also install my JDM Mugen Fit RS floor mat (this one have the center part for the rear passenger), and much better material than the USDM one.
oh also different color then USDM one.
and last Install my PIAA Head Light,
I was thinking of doing the full V-LED front LED headlight conversion with switchback, but after reading that it have problem with the cutoff or not working well, I decide to just do a PIAA bulb conversion...
Don't want to do HID retrofit because I just don't like the idea to open the headlight housing and then do a JB weld cause worry it might crack someday or not holding it strong enough since if I do HID I will prefer the big Lexus double beam HID projector... which will be big and heavy one...
anyway, I am quite please with the PIAA Head Light bulb conversion,
might change the bulb on the foglight too with the same xtreme white bulb from PIAA later.
Here are all the pictures:
On the road, it also translate on better cut off and shine further and wider.
The FIT lighted blue color on the front door sill is very bright and gorgeous,
also note the RED Ambient Light (from my previous install/JDM Fit front LED RED light that can dim automatically if you close the door),
shining on the JDM Mugen Fit RS floor mat:
LED light inside the cupholder make the color of water in your water bottle
to be bluish
REAR Ambient LED Light on the corner near the rear door sill,
I run the wiring through the side lower plastic panel (hidden):

JDM Grille Fit
Alledgedly, it is supposed to fit the 2012 Sport, unlike the "Sport" grilles advertised on Ebay which specifically state that they are for the base model. At any rate, we'll see how it turns out!
But I hope you prove us wrong, or can make it fit-- but I have a feeling the lines won't line up.
In that note, what grilles would fit a 2010 base ? Sorry if this has been answered before.
None of the jdm grilles fit the base or the 09-11 Sport models unfortunately.
BMWAlpina,
A projector retrofit will complete your car. JBweld not required if your using something that will just drop in like an H1 or D2S. However everything else will need cutting hence the JBWeld.
But, there are some retrofitters out there that make custom brackets now for headlights that minimize cutting, and make it easier also in the end to change out the projector to something else. Go on FB and check out a group called Headlight Junkies.

When are y planning on doing the sport bumper conversion ? I demand pictures.
And I'm pretty sure the USDM Mugen grill also fits the base.
Well... Finally got damage and repair estimates from the body shop, and it seems like it turned out to be a little worse than I had previously imagined. Gonna end up needing a new radiator and compressor along with the new bumper and various misc. parts. Total is coming out to be about $2500 Still planning on going the sport bumper route since it won't be any different to do so dollar wise. Hopefully she'll be back in action soon. I was also planning to go ahead and get side skirts done, but that'll have to wait for awhile.

ASAP. Probably won't have in-progress pics since the body shop is taking care of it. I'll definitely post here when it's done with some pics.
