What did you do to your GE fit today?
Old milano was SS paint. But the current milano, just like the taffetas, are two-stage.
And silver > white. I can definitely see more shine in a fully-done silver car than white. Pretty much any professional detailer will tell you that white is the most "unsatisfying" color to work on D;
Looks good ryu! What products are you using?

cleanly detailed silver always have more pop than white.. really for white its almost not worth going through so many steps.. you'd be hard to tell the difference at all..
sticking to clay and wax for mine.. my eyes can't see the difference haha on my old green integra it was worth going through many steps.. its really popped when properly detailed
then again white without detailing looks much better as it hides a lot.. can't see swirls
I did some dipping today
rear:
front:
love the back.. not sold on the front.. but waiting for my sti lip to arrive and put that on before I decide haha i think once the lip is on it will look proper

g95pteg,
I really liked the lines you followed on the front plasti dip. Mostly people just do the bottom middle section, but I see you did the sides partially. Looks a lot cleaner. Well done.
The real question is will you paint the lip white or leave it black.

What polisher do you use?
Thought about painting it white too.. Rock chips and snow may beat it up pretty bad.. And not sure if I like it
Found fellow fitfreak member piolk (fitthestance on instagram) had both version way back on his fit.. I think I prefer the black.. And I really like his side skirt extensions
White sti lip:
Unpainted black:
I will probably decide once it comes in
Finished up the light bar.. Now to paint it and find some fog lights for it

Well recently I had installed a NonStopTuning Lightweight Crank Pulley. Total failure. Worked fine at first, then made a terrible grinding sound which made the fit sound like a lawnmower. Reinstalled the OEM pulley and realized that the NST pulley wasn't even OEM spec! Disappointing. I have yet to email NST about it. It's not a huge loss though because I paid a low price for it. The image shows the comparison between NST and OEM. The filed down areas are where the crank case ate the aluminum off of the pulley. Luckily there wasn't much crank case damage.
I also installed some used BuddyClub coilovers that I picked up from slp950. I'm very impressed with them so far, especially the ride and stiffness adjustability. I have yet to find a sweet spot in the height, but I'm working on it. The height in the picture was too low, and due to the +38 offset of my rims, I rubbed a lot. The handling is pretty amazing now, it drives comparably to a go kart

Finally,
After Few Years of DREAMING
I ordered the Brembo Gran Turismo Kit today.
I choose the Subaru BRZ Gran Turismo Front Kit
with 6 Piston Yellow Caliper
and Type III (Type 3) rotors size 355mm x 32 mm rotor,
Part# 1M3.8047A.
I will MODIFY the HAT and the Caliper Mounting Bracket to fit our Honda Fit
I bought them from Vivid Racing, here is the link:
https://www.vividracing.com/catalog/-p-150898124.html
Actually the pictures above from Vivid Racing website show the right rotor but wrong caliper,
The right Caliper and rotor would look like this one:
and
I also just ordered 1 piece of BBS RF-509 (from BBSJapan).
It is a FORGED Wheel
Size 18x7.5 et 48, with 4x100 pcd.
I only ordered 1 piece for now because this is just to test fit
with the Brembo and I also want to see the clearance to the fender.
I am pretty sure it will fit perfectly based on my current wheel/tire and offset.
at first I considered BBS CS4 which is wider at 18x8 and cheaper,
but turn out this BBS CS4 is NOT forged wheel,
so I decided to go with the BBS RF-509 instead which is FORGED and MUCH LIGHTER and I personally think the BBS RF-509 looks better too
The thin spokes of the BBS RF-509 should allow the Brembo 6 piston yellow caliper to stand out more (for looks) and easier to clean.
If everything goes well then I will order another 4 wheel,
since I need total of 5 wheel because the OEM spare wheel/tire
would not fit the front brembo and my rear larger custom disk brake conversion.
Here is BBS RF-509 Link:

Yeah haha it's some bs for sure. I emailed them awhile ago and they said to send it to them, which I did. Asked if they received it. "I'm not sure but I'll get back to you." Maybe I'll just ask for a coke and tell them to keep it, which they'll probably do anyways.
Actually, it was yesterday, but I changed my oil. 1st time I did it myself on this car. I usually had the dealership do it so they had the records but I wanted to check my mounts and figured I would do it while I had it jacked up. I reset the trip to watch mpg & on a drive that my best mpg was 38 but this time got 50.6mpg. The only thing I can figure is that the dealer uses 5w20 (I used 0w20).
