What did you do to your GE fit today?
Haha! I actually drive around locally and park next to all the unmodded fits, whose drivers don't really care too much about the car :'( I've seen maybe 2 non-stock fits in Raleigh, NC. Most likely because it's Raleigh, NC.
This is truck country, so there are very few small cars, let alone modded ones. Not many people are interested in small cars. That being said, a kid at the grocery store tonight saw me park, and when I stepped out, he looked at me and said "Dude, I love your style! The car and that jacket are both awesome!" (This jacket, for reference).
Hi Connor55,
I remember that you had a DIY or post
about that DRL (Day Time Running Light) that you install
near the front fog light housing.
Could you please give me the direct weblink
to your post that contain that DIY?
Thanks

I am more than happy to help you though.
Heres the link for the led. 6K WHITE DIY 3W LED DRL FOG DRIVING AUX LIGHT - DRL Pods - Accent That are extremely bright for such a small light, as bright as oem led drls on some newer cars. To be precise, they produce 180 lumens each. I like this because it does not have that cheap led strip appearance that a lot of add on leds have.
As for the install process, i drilled 5mm holes on preexisting dimples in the lip. Normally if the mounted surface was facing straight forward, i could just use the included nut to clamp it to the bumper plastic. But since the fit front bumper is curved around, i needed to install the leds at an angle to point forward. Hope that makes sense. The rear mount of the these leds is threaded (thats how the nut clamp attaches) so i screwed the led directly into the 5mm holes, then i used to silicone adhesive to add extra strength and also weatherproof a little bit.
Wiring is a little trickier. i had a relay harness in place for my halos already, so all i had to do was tap into the halos and run wire down to the foglight area. The relay harness uses 12V directly off the battery and is triggered by IG2 so that it comes on automatically when i turn the key. IG2 can be found near the fuse box, i forget which colour it is but you can find out in the service manual.

I think im done with lapping this year (never say never) because I have two races coming up (not in the fit) one at Calabogie Motorsports park and one at Mosport GP.
That day was only $100 so I jumped on it.
Any mods on your Fit?
Here is a quick crappy iphone shot
I have about 1-1.5 finger gap in the front and none in the back. The front has -1.7 degrees of camber which doesn't look too flattering with the stock wheels. But eventually she will get some new shoes.

I can take some shots this weekend, looking to dust my old canon camera off to try and get some clean shots.
The ride isn't too bad. Its stiffer than stock and you can feel most road imperfections but its not bad. I can still handle most driveways and speed bumps with ease. The front camber bolts help tremendously, night and day difference.
Sure thing. Going to try and grab some pics this weekend

Speaking of Calabogie. I was through there on my way home from Ottawa back in May. I took the twisty road over to Haliburton. What a fun drive. Only met one car and it was a Fit.

Good looking car!
Ive had no need for a rear sway bar yet. No clue how it would help anybody daily driving either.
with the HP in the car I find it tracks just fine no under steer and even though in my videos it looks like a Sunday drive im beating on it pretty good.
my instagram is: higgysix
I probably have a lot of you on there already

This went down today!
already started next project - fix my sloppy sanding job on my hood from two months ago. finished the 1st step flat sanding with 1000 grit. got most of the waviness out. tomorrow we do 1500, 2000, 2500. If time permits, compound and polish.
