Back when the $uck was just that compared to the ¥. Today, with the exchange rate they go for about $360, when I purchased mine I think it was about $530, what a difference. So many of my parts have added too many excess $ if they were purchased today versus then, but at the same time, I wouldn't of had them and that would of sucked.

See a good deal on eBay that I just can't pass... hahaha

I bought a pair of original Audi Supercharged Logo for just $60 (PAIR),
while at some online store (even at Amazon),
they are $75 for EACH...
so I pay less then half price !!!

The bad thing is, I can NOT put it on my car until I got a supercharger installed...
so this will motivate me to work harder so I can finally buy a supercharger
and install this emblem on left and right fender hahaha

I can't honestly say vast improvement, still yet to beat on it, but it does seem like it revs a bit quicker. Just need to get out on a circuit again. The new hobby of MTB is going to damage me.

Stopped by my friend's place and he snapped some shots real quick.

Your car looks amazing. Nice to see it with my favorite car of all time. Mtb can be addicting. What kind of Mtb did you get?

Specialized S-Works Stumpjumper WC hardtail (it's actually inside the Fit in the photos), thankfully I have quite the hard tail myself with the amount of times I have gone down already.

And thank you. The DC2R is a 96Spec, so the rawest of the breed, 19yo and still going very strong. My friend could use a rebuild on the engine though, has a bit of blow-by at times. When wallet allows him, he will. I also keep trying to talk him into the 98Spec final drive.

That's right you also ordered a fiberglass piece. How did yours come out? The diffuser was a little rough around some parts and had some scratches. The paint shop said it would need to be primered to fix the imperfections before painting it.

The same color as the modulo center garnish, its a dark gray color. We'll see how it looks

OH BTW, did you have to drill any extra holes to fit the duckbill?

I'll post pics after install.

I'm torn on the spoiler. Honestly.
The oem spoiler always felt a little small, I like the duckbill so maybe. I also do like the EV spoiler but its not really that aggressive, but it does have the low sides which i think look great.

we'll see in time.

Yeah mine had some pinholes and sanding scratches on it. The shop is charging me extra to fill them with putty and smooth everything out before actually putting primer on and painting it.

Makes me wonder how much i really saved by not going CF.

Getting mine on monday so well see how it turns out. Nah it has tape and also uses the stock bolts to mount.

Btw i got the regular jdp one, aka non duckbill. Check jookybananas thread to see what i mean. Its like a bigger more aggressive version of the stock one.

If you dont like the jdp options you could always look at jdm options...

Is that when its considered freight rather than just a parcel? Its probably more to do with the size than weight.

I got my sport bumper and skirts shipped on a palet that way. Had to pick it up at a local depo cause they dont do door to door deliveries on that

My paint guy charged me 100 for paint and primer, and it looks amazing.

The reason I went non-cf was because keeping up the clear coat on cf is a full time job. Especially in SoCal, the harsh sun eats clear coat like candy.

Thats good to hear that no extra holes were needed, I will definetly check out his pics and I look forward to yours as well.

As for now the spoiler isn't my biggest concern, but in a year or so, I will begin to reassess. Although maybe I should do while John is still in the game.
