What did you do to your GE fit today?
I would say the ride is slightly harsher over bad roads, but completely acceptable (I say acceptable because the wife has not complained). The body roll is greatly reduced in cornering, braking and accelerating. Some of the wiggle at highway speeds 65+ is gone too.
For the price and effort of the install, I should have done this a long time ago.

Nice, looking forward to seeing how it looks after you get it painted
Replaced the Japanese factory nav unit with a Kenwood DDX-5035BT. Swc still works without an adapter, but lost my RVC because even though it's composite and 12v, the power is hardwired to the factory head unit, so there's no way of hooking it up to the reversing light circuit. Have to find a new one.
Original glove compartment and head unit were a deep satin purple, while the dash kit came in silver. So I had to paint them both satin black, which was a huge pain.
Oh right yeah, I also installed a flush HDMI/USB port so I can use MHL and don't need to buy a $500 nav unit for the h/u.

When I bought my Fit I noticed one of the tail lights had water in it. Upon closer inspection, it had dust and dirt in it as well. Ends up it had been replaced at some point and they used the cheapest one they could find I think. To replace it I hopped on eBay and sorted through used ones until I found a used OEM one I thought would work. Once I received it it was in far better shape than I thought it'd be in, and it was only $40 shipped!
When I removed the light, I noticed it had been rubbing on the paint and scratched it in a few places. I cleaned each area, sanded, touched up, and clearcoated it before putting the new light in.
The new (used) light is in. Looks brand new! The fitment is better than the old one as well so I don't think it will rub.
Today I'm installing the new suspension on the car. Koni oranges, Progress springs, and a Progress rear sway bar.
Good work paying it off, car still looks brand new
Hi,
Just in case you want to add another Light on the LOWER empty section (suppose to be the fog light) of the tail light,
This way it all light up
I had a DIY on it :

But I'm UK so doubt its legal
Thank you for the DIY! I am considering it. Interesting thing is that neither side of my new tail lights have fog light sockets? I got them from a ebay seller located in Japan.
and the right side taillight that have fog light socket built in is the UK version
(or of course the other way around )...
Mine was bought from Thailand also ebay seller and no fog light socket too
Bought it !
Just today traded the 89k mi. 06 PT Cruiser and $10k for the Blue 40k mi. 11 Fit Sport w/o nav .
Did ok since the PT needed about $2k + in repairs.
Will be bringing her home and detailing all the dealer missed and closely inspecting/assessing the minor rust on the lower front corner of the drivers side front door..
On the Lot.

Looks good! There needs to be a grill that is just a border, with black mesh in the center.
I tamed my BC Racing coilovers. Now the car rides almost like factory!
I also did a projector retrofit. MD2S, 5000K, and MC-R shrouds that I painted Honda Polished Metal Metallic (It's the same as the grey on the Sport rims)
