That made my rather crappy day! Truck is frozen solid. Gas lines, rad & coolant, even the winter washer fluid is a brick of ice, and the wife is taking the Fit out of town tomorrow.

I did get a new record for cold starts with the 51R battery: -35C. With the math, I think I could get to about -38C without a problem from cold, but I'm not sure. Old 151R had 340 CCA, 51R has 450 CCA. That's about 1/3 more CCA, and the old threshold was -27C, but that was even after a night of -30 and lower, and letting it sit at that temp for an hour or two first.

This was actually over a couple of days but I installed a chinese 8inch android headunit (newsmy carpad IIS) on the weekend and today a red auto shift knob to match the leather wrapped steering wheel. Might consider red stitch leather handbrake cover like BMW ALPINA did.

^Nice color combo with the shifter and steering wheel!

I am at 40K so I had my mechanic do my ATF service today as well as do an oil change with both the Mobil 1 oil and filter.

While the car was on the lift I changed out my Tanabe exhaust for the Mugen exhaust that I purchased back in October. I will be running the Mugen rear lip shortly and the Tanabe is too big to fit underneath without serious modifications

Mugen exhaust upclose while on the lift

Further away, definitely much smaller than the Tanabe

Closeup, pea shooter!

@Waiz
Wow, I never knew the mugen exhaust looked like that, did you cut off the tip or is the tip optional? Looks good!

This particular version is made to be run with the Mugen rear lip so it is a much smaller design. There is another version that has a larger tip but that is not compatible with the Mugen rear

I did not do anything to this exhaust

Wow I love that shifter... You can buy it here in the states as an oem part, but all the dealerships use the same picture and in the picture it looks like brown leather instead of RED. That is seriously hot!!!

Would really like that 220km/h speedo instead of the 190km/h on mine.

Was able to get my OEM resonator removed to run with my Mugen exhaust today.

Very happy with the results!

That's horrible. Let me guess,no follow up emails, you have to pay return shipping and a restocking fee.

I wont use them. Like I said Teknotik can get all the same shit they can and they are awesome.

I emailed them (Christmas day) about my JDM Hazard switch that was ordered OVER a month ago.

Someone responded yesterday and said they had been on holiday break.

I asked if they'd been on break since December 5th when the order was placed (no updates have been given since 12/5/14) and.....there's been no response since.

In conclusion:

DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH AJR.

That said, I already knew not to do business with them based off of their issues with counterfeiting, I guess that's what I get for trying to do something the easy way.

well they were supposed to reopen this Monday. I received a response to my first emails regarding a tracking number stating that Ben would be back on the 15th to answer my email re: tracking number. Then yesterday, i received an email from Ben with my tracking number.... Still no response on the emails I want to exchange the damn mirror back. whole week passed and no resolution.
