What did you do to your GE fit today?
Got my Blackstone report back--nothing abnormal about the levels of various chemical/metal compounds in the transmission fluid. On the one hand it's reassuring that the tranny isn't imploding, but why does it keep becoming difficult to shift? Anybody else experiencing balky shifting with the M/T?
Everything else shifts perfectly (once warmed up) and even fifth is perfect 60% of the time, good 30% but that last 10%
A friend of mine has an infrequent 5th gear grind too (GE)... i've never had any issues. It feels to me that the timing of 5th is awkward compared to the rest of the gears though, I always take that shift slow.
IK22 + 91 has me a believer.
Engine feels weird, it pulls different, in a good way, not sure how to explain really. ECU reset had it freaking out a little for a day or so, but after it got everything figured out it was all good, quiet, smooth.

Got my Weathertech mats and installed them. So far, so good - but I wish the deadpedal coverage went up all the way. Still, way better than the OEM rubber mats (which will now just be my summer mats).
I also recently installed an SMD LED array of lights for the dome. I think there's something like 48 LEDs embedded on the board. Total overkill, and it's hilarious.

I finally got my alignment done today after installing my new used BC Racing coilovers last week, as well as installing a new set of tires and one TPMS sensor. Also replace my my shift boot with a new OEM one. New wheels are on hold since I need a new computer
Did my every 2 year (brand-new car is 3 years and every 2 afterwards) mandatory inspection and had the Fit re-titled as a 2 seater. Now getting it prepped for Suzuka full course on the 3rd of December. Dropped off the new CEs to a Yokohama shop and ordered up new 205/50R16 A050s in a medium compound. Decided will use those on the 3rd versus using the Advan RZs with the BFGoodrich Rivals, because it is supposed to be a very sunny day so want to see what the slow beast can do with the S tires on the full course of Suzuka.
Those S turns are killer, and the lack of feedback from a virtual car gives me trouble.
For those of you in northern climates: Dunlop WinterMaxx - Awesome in snow, okay on ice. This has been my first week of "real" snow fall up here (i.e. huge dumps of snow and constant blizzards), and as long as people with all seasons haven't been spinning their tires on it too much, they handle the weather pretty good. Especially for a ~$100 tire.

Install Honda S2000 AP2 Exhaust Tips:
Install Honda CR-Z 2013+ Under Engine Cover (different then 2012 model):
Install Kuo's Garage Battery Holder:
Install Rear Trunk Light (with Switch):
Fix my Takeros Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler add on,
take out the old double tape since it had ugly gap, use BetaTech Plus Polyurethane Adhesive
(used to be called BetaLink that BMW used to
install their trunk spoiler).
still in progress:
Fill the Bushing on my JDM Fit RS Rear Axle (with disk brake) with the same Polyurethane Adhesive, again this Rear Disk Brake conversion is still work in progress... (long long term project):

Installed my Bilstein PSS and proceeded to dump the car by removing the rear adjustable spring perch and using the OEM upper spring isolator with a very slight modification.
Springs in the rear are still slightly preloaded at full droop. With the front adjusted all the way down to the lowest setting recommended by Bilstein the front and rear match perfectly. Gave me an additional 3/4" in the rear.
I was concerned about the ride, but it feels pretty good considering how low it is. Bump travel is compromised obviously, but it could be worse. Looks sweet though

Car was dropped off this afternoon at J's for the engine and suspension rebuild. Still waiting on the valve springs and retainers, but I know they are on their way to me. Yesterday was Suzuka and it is AMAZING in person. Though the Fit just doesn't have enough oomph to wind out 5th. The 1km straight is slightly uphill and I could only get up to like 172~4km/h (107mph), but in the esses it was fantastic. Degner corner and 130R I just could never really allow myself to push harder, back end was wanting to come out a bit and 130R I should have been able to take flat out, but was only pulling around 140km/h, thanks in part to the brakes (meaning they work too damn good, just a slight tap and easily would scrub 15~20km/h) and with it feeling slightly nervous just held me back. Think once did 150km/h through it, but even that I feel is too slow.
J's is going to setup the suspension to their Suzuka spec (slight variance of my request, bit less camber up front) and they basically said where I was having to modulate the throttle, I could just lay into the throttle with the suspension setup to that spec.
Here it is in the pits waiting out a red flag (some EG6 blew the engine on a miss shift from 4 to 3 instead of 5).
Actually ended up 3rd in my class, didn't even realize it and 26th overall out of 47 entrants.

What is your intake and exhaust setup currently?
Only able to hit barely over 100mph doesnt sound right, my car is faster and Im a big guy plus I have a bunch of car audio.
I have the BLOX 6inch velocity stack going directly into the MAF, then right into a 90degree coupler for throttlebody.
Exhaust is de-cats, 2.00 inch piping to a cheap glasspack and cheap offset muffler

I can easily hit over 100mph off circuit. It depends on the circuit and the back straight is slightly inclined and being that I couldn't be on the throttle going through Spoon curve I couldn't maintain momentum speed. On the way to the circuit on the expressway was at 192km/h (119mph) GPS speed a few times and I am already gear limited to 204km/h. The other Fits on course, besides the 2 that placed in front of me, were slower still on the straights. If you were to bring your Fit onto Suzuka, you would see what I am talking about.
Have a LSD too. Traction wasn't really the issue as far as putting down the minimal power of the L15, suspension settings were definitely a factor. I would definitely recommend a LSD if one is wanting to actually flog their car. J's was telling me yesterday, they have very specific settings for each circuit they visit. For instance their settings for Central Circuit, if driven on Suzuka would result in the ass end coming out way too much and being very nervous. This is essentially what I was experiencing out there. So with not being able to keep on the throttle through Spoon heading into the 1km straight, I lost too much speed and added seconds to my time.
