Washed and waxed the fit yesterday, pulled all of the dealer plate frames and installed a tinted frame for the front.

Just put a SOX vinyl sticker on the back of the fit. My mom made it with a machine she has...it's pretty legit.

I really want to debadge soon. I'm going to do some searching first though.

I want to get the dealer vinyl off as well. With the poor treatment they gave us, I surely don't want to be advertising for them haha.

Honestly though I've read two read ups on debadging and in both cases the scratched the paint although they too great measures to avoid it.

Yes and get some goo gone and use that on adhesive. But don't use a rag or paper towel...rub it on with your fingers instead. Then, once its off, wax up that little area.

If you need any help, post up--ive done it on all my cars.

Goo gone is the best stuff ever...I used it to get some nasty Disney princess stickers off a tinted window on a car I was detailing and on every single emblem debadge ive done. Hell...I even used it to debadge my wheel centercaps.

On the vinyl, zack...get some goo gone, spray it on, let it sit for a while and begin peeling one corner with your nail and spray some more as you go. Also...keep going back to the base of the vinyl to grab more so it won't break.

Installed the Gentex 21A Auto-dim w/ comp/temp. Was really missing an outside temp gauge and trust me, this is the only solution worth considering.

Besides the comp/temp you get a first class rear-view that's 5/8" wider than OEM. I've come to appreciate how much that means in a Fit.

It comes with a clip attached to it and I hooked it on the top horizontal grill bar, just behind the license plate. My thought is it will avoid the ice build-up in winter conditions. I like it because it's way low in clear air.

Spent the day trying to change the fabric in the doors. I followed mdbrich's DIY and tried to force vinyl to work, even though he warned me it wouldn't. I spent the evening cursing that small corner in the door panel armrest that I previously took for granted.

The whole reason I even started this mess is cause I wanted to remove the rear door speakers to reduce weight...damn things weigh less than a pound.

Now I've got two exposed doors and can't decide if I want to do black microsuede or go baller status and have Rogue custom make some CF panel covers???
