Put the catcon back on and installed new mid pipe.... With the larger diameter pipe and larger resonator it is very quiet even without the axle back pipe and muffler.

Couple days late, but took a drive on Sunday down to Shimoda on the Izu peninsula along the coast for the most part, but the traffic was insane so veered off onto some winding mountain roads for a little more fun. Though the, get this, 303km (188miles) total drive distance took me 9 hours and 15 minutes. Shows how bad the damn traffic was at points of the drive. I only stopped once for about 10~15 minutes to let my dog do his business. Especially bad when I got back up to Mt. Hakone area, but route 732 is one awesome road, to get on it when there is no traffic would be fantastic. If you ever played Battle Gear 3 and drove on the Hakone map, this was the exact road. Mmmmmmmm, what I would do to have my old TeggyR or Snisen on that road.

Check out that road. The yellow one of course. I had a damn Insight in front of me that I am sure I was making nervous, he definitely was slow around those switchbacks and taking lines like he belonged on a tour bus instead of behind the wheel. Had some Lexus behind me and he looked like he wanted to play, but left him way back as I kept catching up to the damn Insight and finally the Lexus would be back on my tail. Don't mess with the slow ass Fit. hahaha

My mistake on the road in BG3, it was actually 401. A road I haven't traversed yet, but think I will head over there in the not too distant future...

Upgraded my parking light to some whiter led's. I had 6K leds in there but with my yellow fogs and 5K headlights the 6K parking lights looked off (too blue). See what I mean?...

Here are the new improved LED's.
Just to mention they are the wedge 194's from vleds.com very nice product.

Another Sunday in the books and another long drive. This time went up north, up to the Romantic Highway, supposedly one of the top 10 roads in the world according to some that I have seen online. Ummmmm, I kind of have to disagree, I've been on roads that were way more fun. Now the part where it was 2 lanes same direction going uphill was not bad, but coming back, it was wide enough for 2 lanes, but it was a no-passing zone, didn't realize it at first and jumped a car or 2 and started to get pissed off at the guy in front of me for jumping back and forth and only going like 25km/h. The downhill could of have been amazing, but with cars doing all of 15km/h and even coming to stops for the numerous back and forth hairpins...I'll just say I wanted to scream out loud, wait I believe I did that. hahaha Took some other roads on the way up, I'll just say if these were one-way roads it really could have been more fun, but when parts can only fit a car and it is actually 2 way, can't really push that hard because just too many blind corners. In fact, I almost got hit twice because the other people were more towards my side and not their own. Ohhhh and one other thing, I HATE HARLEYS!!!

Total drive for the day was 489km. I took some more in-car video, but not sure if I'll post any of it later.

just got back from camping, heres some highlights from the fit

-drove 2 hrs, bleh boring highways
-drove 50 miles on some mountain roads to get to camp site
-then a flock of bees flew in and everyone freaked out, pretty funny actually
-ran over a HUGE snake it was either the snake or i run off the road into a ditch... i was going about 30 down hill
-drifted on the campsite next to ours hehe
-plate frame broke somehow
-drove down the mountain almost hit a deer

overall the fit was a great addition to our camping experience

Got up this morning and installed door visors. Missing (or lost) on clip, so I ordered a hardware kit from my local dealership. Took me a little over one hour. Really like the look and can finally leave my windows cracked (without too much worry) on these 100 degree days.

Took the FIT fishing again - we got skunked and lost a lure to an over thrown cast into the wires....

fitah I believe so, but for the price I never really got that close to know.

EDIT: Oh yeah - took some photos of FIT as well. Will be pulling them together to post.
