for the tails, i'm not too fond of the all clear, and i'm gonna experiment dipping the surrounds red with glossifier. i haven't seen anyone do that yet. most people smoke/black dip their tails. I just want to add some pop with red. at the worst case i can always just peel it off.
I did not "grit" it so much as to just get any wax etc off. Down so low at worst all I need to do it spray it Taffy again.

Usually I do not like the clear tails but on yours I like them. I would not add any red.

I am waiting for my door handle LEDs. Can't wait to be pulling wires through from doors to the body.

Almost torn off my STI lip going out of a driveway. Ended up putting the screws back in the front and cover with red duck tape, originally painted it MR. The paint is gone on bottom part. Only on Eibach springs but I think the short wheel base makes the Fit a dive bomber.

I am really happy with the results and it looks 100% better

Installed Ebay universal lip, first time I ever put one of these on a car. Didn't come out perfect, but I am happy with how it looks. Also secured it with screws/washers to make sure it stays on better.

I'm still ambivalent to how it looks. Definitely harder to see the lights during the daytime unless you are right behind me. I think I may peel and stencil the lights out when I have more free time.

xxryu139x, ever thought of getting new tails? I never like how those look in clear lens... looks like a disco ball

I like red or red with smoke on silver cars

This would probably work fine on second hand JDM tail lights since you would really only have to cover the two small sides.

Don't worry about having to peel it on such a small area. Spray on a thin layer of red and then glossifier till its shiny. Bug and tar remover can be used to remove Plastidip. Belive me half my car is covered in the stuff
