Have not washed it all winter, finally took it to the car wash today, though I can still see all the smears from the old polymer and wax. I might take some detergent soap and sponge and hope I can get all that crap off and do a re-wax this weekend.

Just recently, it's more of a "What happened to your FIT today"

TSB happened...

Windshield is cracked (12-006)
Applies to all 2009-10 Fits
"The windshield has a vertical crack starting at the bottom, above the cowl, near the middle."

Word of advice, when the new one is put in, make them clean the inside of it first! Mine got a rock chip at 3000 miles that spread into a crack (ugh). I had kept the inside free of everything so it wouldn't fog up. The new window inside had some kind of smeary stuff on it. Never been able to get it satisfactorily clean since.

My wife always carries windshield damage insurance on our cars never used it until 2011 when I ended up replacing two windshields on the same car.

Installed my Clazzio seat covers last night the rear and passenger seat will finish the driver's side tonight hopefully if it does not rain. Took me about two hours. Will post up pictures on Monday after I install my STI lip and a few other items. This is the first week I have been able to work on the car in 2013.

i finally figured out to use the auto-eq feature for my pioner avh-p8400bh head unit. what a pain in the ass unit. since i was using the parking brake bypass module, it kept the setting greyed out. i had to ground the parking brake bypass and it worked beautifully.

i figured i'm all done and put everything back together and install my mugen reservoir socks, i noticed my fuse holder for the alternator to battery line was melted. I couldn't even open the plastic cover. i had to remove the 0 gauge wire and replace it with another one directly to the battery. good thing i had 2 feet left over. good thing i found it in time, or else! hopefully this connection stays good.

then i had to redo the auto-eq crap again since the head unit lost its memory when i unhooked the battery!
