^^^ I remember those... I almost went that route when I first got my car... Nori sent me the Japanese install pdf... probably still got it somewhere.
I finally washed my car this weekend after the winter... everything inside & out is spotless again. Glad the weather is warming up so I can install all these JDM goodies I've been gathering all winter.

Installed my amp and box to the car. It's been so long since I installed a system to any car. It took me 3 hours! The hardest part was getting the stock intake box out and punching a hole through that grommet. Amp turns on. Still waiting for the subwoofer to get delivered tomorrow and I'll be all set!
Also bought some cabinet repair brackets from Lowes and some extreme double sided outdoor 3m tape. Used a 90 degree bracket which I hammered to 45 degree angle - or close to it. Wish I had a vise grip to make it easier. Used that to prop up my Panson ETC so i can see it easier. Also mounted the subwoofer control under the steering column with the 3m tape.

Day 10, first fill up, 34.4 liters.
Got car with 46 km's on it so I'm between
7.96 L/100km and
7.20 L/100km
much better than what I was roughly calculating. phew
talked with random salesrep at honda whom I told I already owned the car and:
800 km normal driving, then I can kick it and rev it.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand:
15,000.0 kilooooooometerrrrrrrrs before best fuel mileage comes around. gonna need another bag, I'm 7 clicks from work.

I do like the 12volt folks.
And NOW I know what you're on about. All I saw was fan coming on and lights dimming.
But sure, If you're going to be drawing high-end audio type amperage, by all means, 1/0 it is.
When I had mine it was: Amp with 2x 20amp fuse and I wired with #6(80amp) instead of #8(55amp) to be sure to avoid any heat aka voltage drop issues.(also, i work with that stuff all the time so low $$$) (I didn't buy any #6 wiring kit)
addit:
I'll put here that I found that the rear seats can go back a 2nd notch and near-touch the cache-baggage thing. Woops!
And, the front seats fold backwards, not forwards. So get something to put on passsenger seat if you go for wood.

Changed the oil for the 4th time. Looked like it should, even after nearly 10k miles. Also did the "JDM rear wiper mod." not for looks but to keep stuff from settling on it so much.
I also gave everything under there a good going over. After 2 years there is some slight rust and corrosion building up on anything exposed on the underside, but nothing too bad. The salt here really does a number on cars.

Dropped it off at the dealer to have fog lights installed.
They gave me one of the most awful colored '12 Civic as a loaner car - it's called "cool mist metallic" I think - it's this crazy light blue color
