What did you do to your GE fit today?

Today, I acquired a traffic citation in my Fit.
I never thought it would be possible to snag a speeding
ticket in the Fit... but I did.
49 in a 35... ~$172 bucks.
I'll just pay it. That is almost 5 months of fuel funds given
the mileage I put on.
Now I remember why I don't drive much around here. It is
a relatively small town so about the only excitement, action
and revenue generation the police get is traffic duty.

I've already gotten two speeding tickets on my Fit, $120 each.
Even that $240 would barely make it a month in gas cost if i were being frugal... and I'm rarely frugal.

thanks
i like that grill, similarily looks like the mugen grill for the jazz. which grill is this?
it's currently riding a bit stiff for my taste, maybe once i break in the springs it'll go softer. but so far im loving it! i have about...another 1/2" inch to 1" inch of thread left in the front. thats without touching the preload springs. so far it's sunk with the stock wheels, which is maybe...a 2-3" inch drop atm

i wanna see how these OEM wheels look in black OR i can put my 15" Spuns on there but i have to polish the lip first and respray the faces.
i don't know if i wanna have them painted white or just respray them black, but they'll look pretty good and the tires are amazing (Nitto Neo Gens)

Installed my Zeta door sill protectors. http://www.zetaproducts.net/09-Honda...OEM-Style.aspx I was pleasantly surprised at the appearance of the parts. At less than half the cost, I think they are a much better value than the $100+ parts from Honda.
My factory window visors came today which I'll install on the weekend.
Unsuccessfully tried to add a switch to manually control the DRL's. I installed an ambient light switch into one of the pod openings. I want to wire it up so that I can manually control the DRL's. I tried using a fuse tap at location 15. I thought I would be able to just open and close the circuit at this location, but I keep blowing the fuse. I have to think about this some more. Anyone have any ideas? I used one of those piggyback plugs that changes the single fuse location to a double. (One for the existing circuit, and a new one with a single lead coming off the new fuse). I then pulled one fuse , (the original DRL fuse), essentially disabling the DRL. I then wired the switch into the lead that comes off the added fuse circuit the. I used 7.5 Amp. Same as the original, but every time I flip the switch, the fuse blows. Any ideas would be most appreciated.

Rampo. OK you took the wire from add a fuse to the new switch. Where does the other wire from switch run to? Seems like you are shorting it out somehow.
Would you not want to put the switch in the existing line running through fuse #15? You want to interrupt that circuit not disable it.
Why do you want to disable the DRL anyways? Out little cars need all the visibility they can muster.

The reason I want to do this is because sometimes I need to have these lights off.

2012FitFan, I can't post pictures just right now, but if you look at Zeta's website they have a pretty accurate picture of the installed product.
