Special ordering a 6-pot BBK up front and doing an RSX/civic rear disc conversion as well.

Tinted the Fit today. The very back little windows and hatch were already at the 35% Massachusetts limit, so we matched that along the entire side including the little front triangle windows. I also got a 10%, 6" band along the top of the windshield. While I was at it, I got the protective film on the headlights, and got a yellow protective film on the fogs. I didn't do the hood protection because I already have a magnetbra that's working fine for me. I'm pleased with the result. Will post pictures when I get a chance.

Yup, just doesn't look right flossing some nice rims, and the rear drums show through...

Me and my NCO planned more on the parts for the Turbo Project and how we are going to do everything. Total costs should be around $5000 max. Plan on cutting in to the spare tire well and making a lot of space to do it and then placing a thin but not too thin metal sheet where the spare tire well was and tac welding it over the cut area. This we haven't tried ever so like i said "Project" lol but we are planning on making this car into a K20 Turbo Swap in the next year and a half. Wish us luck, we will need it cause this is our first turbo project like this. I will keep everyone posted on the progress.

The Extreme Contact DW 205s are nice and broken in, and I had a chance to do a comparison test to the stockers on a fairly tight 360 degree off ramp I take every day. Been working up to this for a few weeks and finally decided to take them as far as I was comfortable doing, but they still had some grip left in them. Stock suspension and wheels btw.

Previous max speed, with a lot of squeal: 44mph
New max speed: 55+

That's huge. These tires are a lot of fun.

Considering picking up the Mugen side skirts and exhaust here soon. Won't put the sides on until someone offers a front lip, though.

That's cool! I know a lot of people have said these make a big difference, but it's good to have some real world data.

I'll be using this benchmark for other upgrades in the future. I want real data too! Also, this is, as far as I can tell, the smallest radius 360 off-ramp in town, because it was built a long time ago. It's what convinces me every day that the Fit has some amazing handling dynamics, regardless of grip. With the stock tires, it's ridiculously easy to explore the cars limits and how the balance is effected by inputs. There is no way my friend's cooper S convertible could correct a line like the Fit with all that weight on board.

Blue has the 2012 Fit. The front bumper shape is different so the mugen lip doesn't fit at this time..

I was playing around with plasti dip just now. Not sure if i like it yet. I saw someone do it to their Mugen lip, and decided to try it on the stock bumper. What do you guys think?
