I installed the Blox mini-antenna a coupla months ago.

It was black when I installed it.

The last couple of days I notice it appears to have turned
a dark bronze... I'm wondering how much further it will change.

I suppose the Texas sun and 100+ degree weather has
hurried along the aging process.

Yeah Im in Louisiana. Not much better. Is it a direct plug and play? Cause the bolt on the bottom of the blow is a bit smaller than then one on the stock antenna..

I secured the bolt in the antennae with Loctite Red leaving enough
out to catch the base... and let it cure overnight.

Otherwise the thing just turns and turns.

I got it right after I posted. the bolt was screwed all the way into the antenna so it couldn't catch. I was able to screw it out about half way and then screw it into the base and it caught and isn't spinning at all now

As promised.

Please excuse the messy floor mats. I've been parking in the grass lately lol.

Update: Got to play with it a little bit. Shift's are effortless now. Absolutely love it! However after getting back in my car after it sat in the 109 degree weather for an hour was absolute hell and I have a circular burn on my palm. Ended up taking off my sock and using it so I could hold the damn thing lol. Haven't had a chance to test the radio signal on the new antenna maybe tonight if I decide to go out.

Stated installing my Swifts today. I ended up stripping one of the rear shocks and got the nut stuck on it.
Call to the dealer ship and in comes a new shock. For another $90...

Everything else is going pretty well, although I wish I did this right after getting the car. 2 Northeast winters have added a shitload of rust to deal with. The swaybar liks are a particular pain in the ass...

Made a "free" intake per FitDeez's mod.

I still need to perfect it, the electrical tape holding the filter onto the lid is kind of weak and becomes less sticky around heat, so I'll try black duct tape. I also need to cut/get shorter hose clamps and wash the filter.

Other than that, it's not bad. I've noticed an improvement in acceleration. Some of the low end torque I had lost with my exhaust is now back and the engine note now has some fierceness to it along with a nice suction sound.

I use my sunglass pouch... its like a perfect little shifter-condom lol. If I dont use it, my Titan gets almost too hot to touch after sitting in the sun for 8+ hours..

practice safe driving kids..

i did it to utilize the under-hood scoop of the GE's. this way i know there is sufficient airflow to it, compared to the initial position where the front plate was blocking it. after a drive the filter would be quite hot (maybe its just the weather) so ill see after a few drives with it back here.

im about to head to vegas so 3+ hr drive through the desert i wanted to have the airflow constant.

My non-scientific $.02: Better air flow in your new SRI location due to hood scoop. You will likely notice a patch of accumulated road grime on the filter as a result of direct outside air flow channeled to the filter.

VERY LARGE PIC OF DUST ON FILTER

Oh, and I changed the oil again - Mobil1 oil (5w-20) and M-110 filter.

Mobil 1 Oil Change and state inspection today. $43 after taxes and everything.

Tires are down to 3/32.. somehow with only 26K miles on them (5K on my snows). I haven't minded the Grip but the tires are wearing WAAAY quicker than I had expected.

Are those OEM Dunlops? Looks like the Bridgestones last a good bit longer.

Bridgestones. If these last longer than the Dunlops, I can't imagine how the dunlops could last more than a week.
