What did you do to your GE fit today?

Did two things today, one good, one bad.
The good: I went to our local fastener supplier and bought 8, 6mm x 12mm stainless button head cap screws and used them to replace my license plate screws. A small improvement.
The bad: Hopped a curb going around a corner on the way home from work. No tire or body damage that I can see, but I put a nice gouge on the edge of the 16" alloy rim. It's not too bad, but that first one always hurts.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about it. Fortunately, if the damage is really bothering you, the wheel can be professionally refinished. Once done, you will never be able to tell it was ever damaged.

I'm sure it can, but it's not bad enough to warrant that. I will fix it myself when I can find some matching silver paint. Or maybe not. You can't really see it unless you know exactly where to look. It's just that the car is new, and that's the "first scratch", and a lasting tribute to my stupidity.

Tomorrow I leave FL and fly back home to NJ where I left my car because I was in south america for the past ~2 months
