@555SD: I feel you... and it's not going to get better soon, so might as well. you getting the trans emblem? If so, I'd strongly suggest you get one from Junack (Junack makes it for J's)

TE0 not the trans emblem, just the front emblem that fits inside the bumper. Probably will just pick up the rear red H from Honda in the near future to match somewhat to the front. Not really related to the Fit, but it will be inside of it, but on me...Alpinestars GP Pro suit ordered today as well. Now at least I can actually get some seat time at some of the larger circuits when wallet says 555.

The only thing this makes me think of is either one of a couple things:
  • Very lucky with day trading
  • Makes and sells something with a very high profit margin
  • Provides some type of service that requires little to no work but pays extremely well.

lol...im so curious its killing me because most of my paychecks HAVE been going to my car. hahaha

pics lighting up don't do justice...

@Kevin: that's putting it in a very good perspective as for meets... there's one this weekend jdmc season opener (I'll be in vegas tho), fizz bbq on the 14th, and a few more just this month.

@j1n: I know... it's ridiculous LOL

  • luck... "maybe"
  • the idea of "selling" is an art... profit margins differs
  • it does require a lot of patience as it involves dealing with people. a good day could run just 2-3 hrs but sometimes could take way longer hours.
like I said... as long as profits are made, I'm good

Today I let it rip on the way home, had some fun up to about 95mph on a back county highway. Those tires get squirly on high speed bends.

I also installed the center arm rest. That was a piece of cake, thought it was going to be hard. So far everything I have worked on on this car has been easy and a dream.

Today I got the lost motion spring recall done and.... the car runs smoother, and is quieter. I went to a superb dealership that let the car cool down completely, and took all day at my request. It runs perfectly. This is the Honda experience I expected. The valve chatter is barely audible, but with the new K&N typhoon on, the engine is a bit noisier in general and it's hard to tell.

K&N Typhoon update: Had it on there for a week or so, and the verdict is that it makes more power, all the time, period.

Today I finished wiping down the car just as it started to rain. I jumped into the car and ran it into the garage, completely forgetting that I left the rear passenger side door open. The open door hit the side of the garage and it left a nice crease up the middle of the rear passenger side door. I'm figuring about $300/$600 to make it go away.

Oh man that really sucks... I know the feeling though. Cracked a windshield in a VW once by slapping at a fly. Ring hit it and that was all she wrote. Left me with that same old dumbass feeling, even after all these years.

With this I will be able to see the laptime as I cross the line. Most of the circuits have magnets at the line which the sensor attached to this picks up and records the time. In the pictures above, the mode is just for speed and distance. Quite easy to install, just had to tap into the VSS on the ECU, which if looking at the ECU from the engine bay it's the upper plug, pull it out and on the 4th row and 10th pin is where to tap into. It definitely works as I took it out for a quick drive and the speed is reading right from the ECU, the gauge is off by about 3km/h from what I can see while driving.

I have an event this coming Saturday which is the annual Honda Style Fun&Run I attended last May and then the next Sunday(22nd) I will be attending a time attack for just Fits and CR-Z. Both tracks are smaller circuits, about 1200m(.75miles) in total length.
