So after all is said and done, I will be returning my GE8 to the dealer sometime next week bringing my 30-day test drive to an end...lmao!!!

Strangely enough i've never realized how much the GE8 looks like the EP3 lol. While I won't be gettin more than 32 mpg, the 160hp VTEC will be fun and my monthly payments will about half of what I was payin for the Fit.

So far everyone i've met on this forum is really cool so i'd like to keep in touch being that I was a Fit owner and am now proud founder of the "30-day club". Hopefully i can post pics of the new ride up soon!
can't wait to see the pics of the "new" ride...His blessings!

EP3 looks great man.

same thing happened to me, i was getting all of these letters from financing companies saying I didn't have enough credit established for them to finance me, I was like wtf honda already said they'd cover the financing. it happened for almost 2 months before I called sales and the manager said HoA would cover the financing and to ignore the letters, close call.
I'm sorry you lost the fit man, but you gained yourself an EP3!

Car looks great. Congratulations!
Lower payments is always best especially in today's economy.

You're right, it does look similar! I checked out the Taffeta White thread:
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...thread-33.html

It's got the look of those cars that have the same model available in 2-door and 4-door (or 3- and 5-door) models.

So your car came out before the FIT for US 2009, right? Well, duh, the year is earlier. I wonder if they borrowed some of the styling from your model for the FIT? Although the first Fit models are also somewhat similar.

Interesting. I had not compared their appearances before.

Nice Civic. Those are hard to come by in good condition.

Evan, could you give us some details?

-How much of a down payment did you put on the FIT?

-How many miles did you end up putting on the FIT for the month that you had it?

-Did you buy the EP3 from the same dealership? If yes, you got lucky because imagine the headach it could have turned out to since they sold your trade in.

Ok as far as the downpayment on the FIT, i put down $1100 which was the trade-in.

I ended up finishing my overextended test-drive with the FIT with a roadtrip with my friends down to San Diego for the last weekend so I turned it in with about 1850 miles on it.

I bought the EP3 off of a person i found on craigslist for $9000. It has 72k miles and is literally in mint condition inside/outside/and engine/transmission.

I ended up getting my trade-in back from the dealership after they said they were just going to give me a check for the $1100 so i sold my truck to my friend for the same amount. He needed a car badly too so everything worked out well for everyone except the dealership but **** em after they pulled all these shananigans.

thanks for all the compliments on the EP3 though, i like it a lot more and am havin a lot of fun with it!

It worked out in the end so that's what matters most.

Thanks for the details.
