New tint & wheels!

The Civic's panda theme lives on. :headbang:

I got hassled by the KPD just getting these pics, tmrw is supposed to be shitty weather-wise, but maybe some better pics will be taken then.

Tint pics during the daylight before I went to get the wheels:

And yes; I realize it needs to be lowered, i'm not gonna do that real soon but it will be lowered slightly at some point, all in good time.

I have to agree with AP.

I'm not liking the rims.

I think lowering should have been first.

sorry man, slipstreams FTL. lower it and run wider tires on the OEM's if you are looking to keep it within a budget.

That's cool, a lot of people don't like the rotas but I used to have them on my civic and I'm not crazy about messing with the warranty right now. Have you guys who have lowered your 09's received any hassle from the dealers?

Nothing wrong with slips man.

You need visors though. OEM FTW!

originally i wanted to paint my wheels OEM's black or get some form of aftermarket rims that are black (thought it might look good contrasting a white car) but now that i see it im not going down that route no more. Can't see anything but just plain 'black'ness.

who cares what dealer says, voided suspension warrenty ftw,

Would take me 2 hours max to swap back to oem springs

otherwise, once your lowered, it will 100% look better forsure, all us with forged wheels will always hate on roat so dont take offence :P

I for one care, I've never had a warranty and would like to be able to use it if need be.

And I'm not someone whose going to want to swap things out everytime I go in for a service just to keep my warranty, so that's out.

And I don't care about people hating on rotas. If I had more money to waste on hardcore forged track wheels to drive my 110hp econobox around on daily, I might get some, but I don't have that kind of money and I also see it as a waste for someone in my position who will drive the car daily, and the most spirited driving it'll see is the occasional auto-x or mountain road.

So, to all the rota haters; hate away!

The wheels are 16x6.5, not exactly sure of offset.

Tint is 60% up front & 80% rear.

I've done plenty of my own work at home on my Civic, but the Fit is a much nicer & newer car that I'm gonna take good care of.

I'm real glad you seem to already know me well enough to classify me into a certain group.

All I want done at the dealer are the first 3 oil changes which are free, and any kind of recall/warranty work they need to do. Anything else will be done by me or friends helping me.

Thanks for the compliment!

Drop >>> wheels

At least you seem to like what you've done with the car even though the rest of us don't.
