wow, best mod ever. I bought the shortshifter from aj-racing.com. If you cant find it on there website then call them and place an order over the phone. Email me if you would like me to send you pics. Everyone needs this short shifter, it makes driving heaven and makes your cars 0-60 time improve because of quicker shifts.

 

I assume you got the T1R short shifter? How was the install? I'm thinking about getting the mugen since it comes with the whole assembly too.

 

i think it is the type one racing short shifter, i think thats the only one that aj-racing.com sells. It was dirt cheap and install was difficult but only took me and my friend working together 1 hour and 15 minutes. When is say difficult i mean super hard. However once install was completed it was all worth it. It makes the car feel like a race car and shifts are so much tighter and quicker, best upgrade ever and i only payed 80 canadian dollars plus tax. You should buy the same one i bought

 

Well the mugen comes with the whole assembly and not just the shifter so the install shouldnt be more than 20 or 30 minutes. And im sure the mugen will be more solid considering it uses an aftermarket assembly too. T1R is good for the price though.

 

Is the Mugen short shifter assembly for the GD the same as for our GEs? It has the same part number listed for both models on their site...
