Dave, your set up look great, but you need to lower your car!

I know, I know! But I keep hoping there will be a Fit Si model in 2010 with a sportier suspension, a 6-speed tranny, rear disc brakes, and at least 30 more horsepower. Then I'll trade up in a heartbeat. For now, this is the winter "beater", shopping, NY City, airport extended parking lot car that needs to be more practical than all the other modified cars in the stable.

Keep dreamin'

Whats the big deal about rear discs anyways? The rear brakes of the Fit don't do shit.

I'm in the brake business, so I'm a bit obsessive about brakes and my other rides have some serious upgrades in that area. Plus my colleagues keep teasing me about having a car with rear drums.

Although honestly, of the items on my wish list above, the rear discs are at the bottom of the pile.

These tires are the best TOP OF THE LINE you can get. I am afraid of how fast I can drive now.

They are amazing. I just wish they weren't so damned noisy.

Thumbs up

Hey Dave, did you ever do any brake modifications to your GE8 as mentioned in the other thread? ---> https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...tallation.html

Any front upgrade? How about the rear discs?
