Aftermarket Support

Aftermarket Support
I tried searching to get some satisfaction but I really couldn't find what I was looking for. I am in the market for a 09 Fit Sport but I'm a little discouraged at the level of aftermarket support for the GE at the moment, compared to the GD or any other Honda for that matter. I keep thinking to myself that the car has really only been on sale in the US for a matter of months and surely the aftermarket will catch up soon. Am I justified in this line of thinking or will I forever be disappointed with aftermarket support when I purchase my Fit?
Thanks

think back just 3 years ago when the new Si came out. nothing was on sale for it yet every big name brand company had a fully modded out Si and it took over a year for parts to be available to Si owners.
any new car that comes out always goes through the same thing. it takes time to do the R&D for quality parts and then mass production for the parts to be available. give it time man. itll be worth it

Dude.....every car takes a while for aftermarket support, your initial thought it good. Don't worry.
Honestly, would you rather a company take their time and make quality products or have them rush without research and thus making it very possible for you to have a bad accident.
Perfect example would be the Xbox 360........
woosa man...woosa :P

why mircosoft?!? why???!?!
(78% failure rate on the first gen)
back on topic, I think ultimately the gd will have a better selection, due to the economy being crappy, companies are/have shut down or limit new things. ex, so far kraftwerks is saying no the SC, which worries me.
and that the gd is easier mod, i remember reading that the air sensor and the ecu is a pain in the ass and that bolt on turbos are going to be difficult with the new manifold.
If i wanted to track the fit, I would get the gd, strip it and do the kraftwerks setup.

GE's have only been out for a couple months man. Like fitpinoy mentioned I rather take them their time and do the R&D rather than releasing a crappy part that wont do anything just to be the first one to have an intake out.
