Skid Pad Lateral acceleration (g): 0.78 ( .75 with traction control enabled)
Handling Rating: Good
Db @ Idle: 42.0
Db @ Full Throttle: 77.1
Db @ 70 mph Cruise: 68.0
Acceleration Comments: Ultra-light control feel, minimal power and little grip mean there's little technique to launching the Fit...just get her moving and shift fast. Fortunately, the shifter works well.
Braking Comments: No fade, but the pedal feels a bit flimsy / floppy and 137 feet won't win the Fit any awards.
Handling Comments: (Skid pad) Heavy understeer is the Fit's preferred balane around the pad and there's little that can be done to change it. (Slalom) The Fit does little wrong here as it assumes a "safe" attitude when it comes to changing directions. But it also isn't terribly engaging with little grip and low limits.

What's wrong with the brakes? I love the brakes on my car. It's a solid feel and the car stops quickly.
Why is this crackhead testing the Fit on a racetrack anyway? I guess he didn't get the memo that this is an economy car with 117 hp, of course it's going to have "minimal" power. This guy gets the Captain Obvious award today.
The average Fit customer is buying the car because it's inexpensive, gets great gas mileage, is comfortable, has a lot of utility, is cheap to insure, is safe, and is reasonably fun to drive compared to other econocars in the class. It is not a sports car however and it won't perform like one a racetrack either. The only performance number I care about is gas mileage. I could care less how fast it gets to 60 mph or how fast it takes to run a 1/4 mile. Completely irrelevant for this kind of car.

lol spoom, moogen whore, i hope you converted the rears to discs, kinda weird to have spoons up front and drums in the rear.
#8
Those are stockers, but not on the FIT lol
Now if I can find a way to get me the JDM rear Discs for the FIT...
#9
damn son! your r32 is four by four like a mother fcuker!! get some koni shocks and h&r springs. thats what my buddy has on his and it sits so nicely. he also just ordered some neuspeed ten spokes even tho i was trying to talk him into getting some work vs xx wheels.
#10
speaking of Neuspeed:
dropping it will be one of the last things I do, no need to go lowrider, on a car that handles so well in stock form.
And back on the FIT topic, hehe... anyone do a rear disc conversion for the GE body yet? AJ guys... chime in...

meh, i drove my buddys r32 and i was not impressed. my fit handled alot better. but im not a fan of awd. what kind of exhaust is that? my buddy has the miltech one and it sounds really nice
#12
Neuspeed exhaust, though the VR6 was great sounding to begin with.
My JDM GSR is more fun to drive than our FIT, but hey, it's for a different purpose.
