2007 S2000 to 2009 Fit?

keep in mind though, the cost of ownership (or cost per mile if you will) of an Si, EVO, WRX, Mazdaspeed 3, or even a GTI would be substantially higher than a Fit. Obviously the initial price will be more, but on top of that you're gonna spend alot more on fuel and insurance premiums as well.
Plus all those cars take premium...so an extra .20 on every gallon each fill up.

Oh yes im going to love that. Ive wanted a fit for quite some time since my many visits to japan and wanted a jazz to be here in the states. 16 bucks that in the evo would barley hit a 1/4 tank even more so when the premium was tipping of the $4 a gallon mark. id say i spent 250 bucks a month on gas just to go to work!

it cost me $30 total, for a round trip to and back from Vegas. And i was gong 70-85 the whole way=]]

I have an S2000 and am considering a Fit. Can't decide if I should trade in the S2000 for the Fit or just buy/lease the Fit. The Fit would actually be a replacement for my current 05 TL 6MT (which is at end of lease). Having driven the Fit, I think I'd be happy with the versatility and utility but will probably miss the S2000's 9000 rpm redline, shifter and overall feel.

Haha, me too!I just bought my 2005 Suzuka Blue two weeks ago and now I already want to trade it for something more practical. My weekend car is a well-balanced Evo 9 pushing 350awhp so yeah... I'm thinking an 07-08 FIT (5-speed) with KW supercharger running at 10psi. Just waiting for that CARB exemption and then I will definitely find somebody who wants to trade
Quite a surprise to find so many of us S2000 owners here. Even more surprisingly, we find nothing odd about being equally impressed with a 117 hp engine which could virtually fit in a briefcase, and the S2000's (Ap1 in my case) 240 hp/9000 rpm unit. Of course, this is the last year of production of the S2000, and the GE Fit is just starting up as the second generation in what I believe will be a rather long production sequence.
