Fit Review in Autoblog
I disagree with many of the disdained comments from the tester. Doesn't matter since most of the other reviews of our car contrast what this reviewer says:
Review: 2009 Honda Fit Sport is still frugal, slightly less fun

You know, whatever. I feel like 7-series owners must have in the early 00s when I-Drive came out: I friggin love the climate controls. Seriously. I love how simple and driver-oriented they are, that they are different sizes, and that I can dial in what I want while I'm driving, without looking. What business does my passenger have in playing with the heating and cooling anyway?
And if the suspension were stiffer they would complain about ride quality more.
In the end they know what's up: "But despite the 2009 model's limited (driver) engagement, the Fit is still the most entertaining runabout in its class, easily putting the Toyota Yaris, Nissan Versa and Chevrolet Aveo to shame."
Also, you beat me by like eight minutes, CrystalFive--between you and me I don't think any review of the Fit goes unnoticed by FitFreak

This quote reveals the flaw... WTF? He's trying to judge the car against the entire spectrum of available cars. Of course you are not going to get what it isn't meant to be. "Limited Engagement" and "most entertaining" are pretty much opposites of the same idea that he manages to fit into the same sentence. He doesn't even make sense. Dumbass.

interesting article. I guess they had to be picky because there aren't any major flaws with the new Fit. There's always a tradeoff between sportiness and comfort for most people. On one extreme you have a go-kart. On the other you have a Lincoln Town Car. The fit went slightly towards the latter this generation, but not that big of a deal given it's roomier interior and more rigid body for safety.

I think the point of the article was it went more toward the town car than the go-kart. The first generation was more like a go-kart in its handling and they liked that. I haven't driven an '09 but the ride in my '08 could afford to be a bit softer. I actually agree the article was mostly bogus. People can make up their own damn minds about the aesthetics, other than that there is no real legitimate downside to the new version.

And, you know, every review about the GD moaned about the non-telescoping steering wheel and the lack of a dead pedal. They're never satisfied, the auto press, but that's their job.
I think they're all trying hard to come up with something new to say because the fit has won every award short of Best Picture this year
