Agreed. I may be interested if I can find out what kind of carbon fiber the lip we are trying to get made will be.

The Tow size is 3K. The garnishes are made of 2 layers of cf material, and 1 layer of fiberglass for the extra rigidness. Can be made of 3 layers of cf upon customers expense. That would be about + $20

This is a garnish I'm doing for Bitoy. Carbon / red kevlar hybrid fabric. The first one I posted I messed up so I had to redo it, sorry it took an extra day to post pics! Its not finished but tomorrow it should be.

And heres another one I'm working on. 2x2 weave CF (3K tow strength)

Tomorrow this will be wetsanded, and cleared with automotive clear. Most companies do not clear their products. Maybe 80% + dont clear coat after the final clear resin coat. But I do because it gives it a slightly better glossy polish look, and it protects the top coat of resin as well as keeps it more UV resistant.

Keep in mind every coat is UV resistant and the fabric itself is also saturated in UV resistant resin.

I can also add on a honda badge at buyers expense. I cant sell it for profit but I can put it on for no charge as long as the buyer pays for the badge. I recomend that so that its a clean done job.

Also the pictures below show the garnish all bubbly because it has a top resin coat on it, like I said it will be wetsanded down so itl look smooth and straight like it should be.

Any way you could pre-drill holes for JDM emblems? Just curious if you could or not. It would make me feel much more secure about installing them. This is of course just a special request for mine, not like a broad general requesst.

I could but even that would be a risk since Its not just how far appart the 2 holes are, its how big htey need to be, and where are they positiond. If you had a JDM emblem Im sure even a local shop would install it for no charge. Or play it safe, remove the studs that would push in teh garnish, and just 3M glue the emblem with out drilling.

Just curious. I will play it by ear. I don't know of any shops around here that I trust with my car, much less a carbon fiber piece and a drill. I will figure it out bro.
