hey guys just wanted to say whats up!

my gf just picked up a 09 fit with the blackberry pearl and its been a great little car! had it about 2 months and we're near 8000 miles already

i am no stranger to honda's having owned 2 different crx's (an 89 hf and a 88hf gsr ect ect) and 3 civic hatches, all 90's with various states of mods ranging from 88hf motor in one to b16's and 14:1 comp b18c1's

anyways i had some questions about the car in general. i just a second ago purchased a usdm center console armrest from majestic honda and it will be here in a few days. just wondering if anyone has done the install before and also if anyone has any experience with the part in general.

how much storage is in it, does the top slide out like the jdm one, and is there any cupholders that come out the back of it like the jdm one? how functional?


oh ya also i was thinking of picking up the ambient light kit for her. its pretty cheap but the install looks like alot of work! has anyone done it and if so would u do it again?

I assumed that since you were not new to the tuning scene that you would know about the things you're asking for lawlz. As for the arm rest it does slide out but it takes out one of the cup holders in the center console. I believe it's the one nearest the e-brake.

If you go to collegehillshonda.com and look up the install guide you'll see it better.

The light someone has done it already. I don't remember who but they will post here I'm sure.

Not to thread jack but I was wondering something. Have you seen a JDM center console? Can you confirm that the color of the USDM console is the same as the JDM console? In pictures they look different, but I am not going to order one at all until I find out if the JDM one is black instead of grey. Im a freak for details.

if it's the same USDM console/armrest that the dealer typically sells,
there's really not much storage. maybe your phone charger
and small stuff. the top part slides forward so it's kinda
nice if you have an AT car (like mine). but it's kinda annoying
when you have to pull up the e-brake.

i dont like arm rests in general.

my GE8 came with that and dealer wanted to rape me on
this option....so i had them take out all the labor fees they
accumulated on the options (including $60 labor to install wheel
locks! LOL)
