Want a Cf Lip For the GE???
#62
Hey guys....it's John from JDP.
I wanted to answer a few questions...but do not want to respond too much since I'm not a vendor on the forum.
I can make this lip in either a 1x1 or 2x2. I would suggest 1x1 since the weave pattern is tighter...more strength. 2x2 looks good but too common. The carbon is 3K.
I'll be borrowing a car from American Honda and will be putting together a prototype next weekend. The design will be very similar to the J's racing. I'll be using my EVO X cf lip as a starting point to shape the lip. Here's a link to my website to get an idea of what the EVO X cf lip looks like.

I'll have jdmsneakerhead provide you with updates.
Thanks again for all the interest...I hope to build something you guys all want.

Great...any other comments or suggestions before I start on this? I rather more input so that I can do this right the first time around.

One piece of input, and feel free to disagree if you feel the urge. I think the spoon piece looks much more aggressive with the straight line in the middle and the vertical bits. While I think both look great, I think the spoon version looks like more time was put into the engineering and production. Just a thought. I am not above realizing the difficulty of molding such shapes into a lip, but you asked for input, so you got it.

^i agree with u there. the only thing i have against the spoon lip is with the small fins in the front, i feel that for daily driving purposes and people who have high drive ways, those will end up scrapping and damaging the lip
