Question Cargo Covers

I recently bought an 09 Fit and am looking fora cargo cover. I really want the retracable kind, but I've only been able to find it for the 07. I've called the dealer and the said the dimmensions were different. I called the company that I saw it with online and they said that they recommed getting the one for the 09 incase the retractable didn't work right. Does anyone know if they are so different that it won't fit right? I've not been able to find any information.

The only one I know of is the Honda OEM that has been discussed quite a bit in this thread.

It isn't retractable but it is removeable. I have it in mine and I love it. Although it was pretty expensive for what it actually is.

Once you have it installed, how quick/easy is it to remove? I am thinking about buying one for mine (from Bernardi--cost wasn't too bad), and would leave it in daily. However, on the weekends when I'm hauling around my Labrador Retriever or other stuff with the seats down, I'd like it out.

The cargo cover seems overpriced, and I wish there were aftermarket version available for the 09 Fits. I toyed with the idea of making a DIY version that just rests between the two side protrusions. Not as easy as originally thought.

honestly speaking, that cargo cover for the 09's are a pita to use.
i bought one thinking it would be like the retrac version on my
GD, but it's not. it's a solid piece and it's tricky to put back into
the car at night time. you have to precisely place the tray
back or it will not go in. ok, maybe im clumsy or just hungry
(or both) and was rushing to get that thing into the car, but it
was not as easy as it is on the GD.

i recommend you tint your windows over getting the cover if
that's an option for you. (if i was going to redo it, i would
not get the cover).
