Anyone DIY an Xpel Hood/Fender Kit?
I see Xpel has kits for a little over $200 to do the hood, fenders, and mirrors, they're rated 2 stars of of 5 ("novice") for difficulty of install.
Anyone do one of these? I have some skills, is it likely I can get excellent results (no flaws) if I do this myself? Anyone have experience with these films in AZ summer heat? TIA.

It's fairly easy to install. The film itself is very flexible and can stretch. I would recommend doing it in the shade since u live in Arizona so u can have some time to get it to form to the contours of the body. U could do it in the sun, but the solvent will evaporate pretty fast so you would have to work a little faster.
Basically, just make sure ur hands are CLEAN because if any grease gets under the xpel (the sticky side) it will show when it fully dries and will sorta kill the whole clear bra effect. Also, make sure u have lots of solvent (water and dishwashing soap) to help with adjustments to the bra.
Hope these hints help you.
