^^^ what he said.

I have a bit of experience with photography. And what I found is that the only benefit doing manual mode is aperature and shutter speed. I believe just about every camera has a decent auto shoot with and without flash. All you need is a tripod and the best settings (sunset or evenly spreaded light areas) and you can make a shot just as good as a DSLR.

happy shooting! <-----lawlz...sorry AP_ONE -_0

haha It ok man.

I NEVER use a flash for any sort of car shooting unless I bring a softbox with me and even then I dont like that. I have a damn good manfrotto tripod and ofcourse still always use a remote as even with a tripod there is still slight shake when you press and release the shutter. Shoot as low iso as possible even if it takes 20-30 secs for a pic at 100iso vs only 3-4 secs at 400 iso as your pic will always turn out better the slower speed you shoot at.

I dunno, its my birthday tomorrow and im sick so im off to bed, midnight here.

Most definately dude! Flash = FTL. Danm, I need to get a remote for my camera as well. I hate retaking the picture like 3-4 times because I shook it a bit when pressing the shutter.

BTW, AP_ONE have you tried turning your lights off and then putting your camera to a super low shutter speed and have those little LED lights around?!?

ITS SUPER FREAKING AWESOME!!!
SLOW SHUTTER SPEED FTMFW!!!!

HDR is cool but sometimes it looks like a Thomas Kinkade painting. I can't wait til I get my Trans Am painted so I can finally take some decent pics of it lol. Started breaking it down last night. Got the new bumper all molded up, just need to start sanding it! It's also getting a new engine 383 LS6.

Gonna try messing around with it more tonight. Got some time to do shit, busted out all of my reading and other school shit at work this week because it's been so freakin' slow.

Now to make this picture great, you should have used a longer exposeur and made sure to turn and be out of the picture I used to love doing stuff like this. Also your aperature is far far too high, Look at the effect it gives the lights. Way too stary. but if you like it, then great. I remember my teacher in university giving me sh_it on one of these for a picture I had to do, lol :P needless to say, I had to redo it, main reason is that when they are too stary they become a distraction, generally f9-f11 is safe although each lens may respond differently.

used S mode shutter priority where the aperture is auto, used iso at 100, auto white, auto focus, 15 second exposure, ran out of space to go there is a fence/curb right there lol i was just test it out. Here is another one i tried.....stars maybe a result of lens filter, it's a uv one that i got for cheap but it protects lens...I've never taken a class, no formal training, just learning as i go, trial and error, it's the best way for me to learn. I'm a hands on mother ****er, which is why I switched from being a International business major to advertising/public relations where they let you learn on your own..

Sure if you want to wait 2-10 seconds camera pending

Well any question you may want to know, Im always ava to lend a helping hand or a voice from years of this junk. The more you shot and learn the better. Avoid cheap lens kits. Your camera is only as good as your glass!
