no 'cause it's too long. I don't know if you can tell from the pics...but the back wheel is right in between the two front seats. When I'm driving, the back wheel portrudes into the front cabin area by only an inch....so it's definitely too long to go sideways (tall mode)

Will a medium size mountain bike fit if you leave both wheels on and lay the bike on its side. The front tire would need to be turned 90 degrees to save space, I am assuming.

I am considering buying a Fit, and was wondering if a bike would fit without removing either wheel. If someone has a picture of this, that they could share, it would be great.
