Ideas for a shift knob?
Hello all,
I was online looking for a few little accessories for the fit and I was hoping that someone could make a suggestion as to a nice shift knob that would easily replace the very dreaded plastic unit currently on my gear stick, this is of course a manual.
I would like a type R style knob and I found a nice knock off but wondered if there are generally any problems with fitment when purchasing one of these replicas? Here is the link in question.

I just installed my Spoon duracon today, it's a little on the small side so moving from my big stock ball to that felt a little weird but I like the feel of it. I would've considered something like the one you posted but since it can get darn cold and hot here, having a metallic knob isn't exactly ideal.
If you're looking into something like that, check out the skunk2 knob. It looks almost exactly like that one, and will probably cost less. The fitment is perfect as far as I know, get the right thread (1.5mm pitch or something along those lines), and it should twist right in. You can get testimony from some other guys on the forum about the skunk2 knob, and how it fits. Do a search and you should find a thread I made not terribly long ago about shift knobs. Cheers.

The spoon one sits far too high and doesnt give you a better feeling, had it, was great back in the eg days but was useless in the s2 and im sure be no different in the ge
The Skunk knob is far far too heavy, had it and got ride of it quick
Mugen dildo )lol( had that one as wel in the s2 and hated the feel of it, far too heavy
Got the arc and id never been more happy with probablly over 50 knobs owned in my life on different cars! Expoensive but you get what you pay for.

Of course that's just your opinion on it. This is something of real personal preference....we're just giving him ideas here!

So can you say the dildo was a perfect fit... in your fit?
