Anyone else with dark Honda wheels?

I finally got my dark Honda wheels installed after about a 3 month wait for them. I like the color on my MR 09, but they still look a bit small. I will post pics later as it was dark when I got home and work comes too early.

It's probably, if I had to guess, the offset that's making them not look quite right to you. IIRC the Honda optional wheels for the fit have a +55 offset. So they are prob sunken very far into the wheel wells.

Very true, you could probably perk them up with 5MM spacers.
Plus darker doesnt give your brain as much to work with, so smaller may register.
The Fit is small, IMHO any wheel 16 or bigger should look perfectly fine

Here is my 07 with very dark wheels and they are relatively tiny 15 inchers.
If they happen to look good to you it can only be because the offset is 38 vs the stock 55 offset...= they stick out 17MM further

These wheels make me wish the factory brakes weren't so small.

Hey Speedee,
What you talkin about? Those look good, I'd consider 5MM spacers and call it a day

HaHa I sold the little 8.5 lb SSR's because in my humble opinion 38 offset looks like poop on the 09's.

Im prolly going with 16" SSR type F with a 44 offset, then maybe add depending on how they look, 5mm spacers on the rear.

very much agree, did the 15's last time mainly out of an obsession for minimal rotating weight
The other bad thing with bigger than 16's, it is damn hard to find a wheel anything under 16lbs

to top it off they don't make these anymore. been
looking for some for years but nothing.

I won't be lowering mine until I wear a bit more new off it (Only 3900 miles). Plus I am still trying to decide what suspension to go with. Oh and I have no disposable income at the moment.
