Sick of the GE haters?
Well, I'm sick of seeing the GD boys bash our cars all over the forums. General Talk, GD forum, even our own GE forum these Jack*ss's bash our pride and joys. Well, I say no more. When someone compares our cars to a Pontiac Aztek or calls it a "fat hamster" I'm going to respond in full force. Enough of our 'nice guy', push over mentality. It's time to stand up for our GE's!

lol i find it funny when ppl talk shit about the GE. i honestly like both. my fiance has a gd3 and i have the ge8 and honestly i enjoy driving hers as much as i like to drive mine. As far as styling goes they both have good and bad things about them...
as long as new models come out the previous model owners will always hate. seen it done over and over again on several forums i visit.

What I'm sick of seeing is how people are hating on the GE or GD. It's that stupid mentality/superiority complex of "my car's better than your car because _____". Sure each car has it's own ups and downs, and we chose one car over the other because of those. But this childish BS of "GD is better than GE" and vice versa has got to stop. If you want, say stuff like "I like the GE better than the GD because ___".

Honestly... I bought my 2009 b/c I liked the 08 so much
Here in South Louisiana, I don't see many FITs, but when I would see a "GD" Fit I would always stop and tell my wife, " I really want to look at those when we get a new car." I drive a car until it dies so I had no Idea they were changing for 2009.
After a bad Accident in our other car, it became time to by a new car and the first thing I did was check out every car in the Fit Price Range. (Nissan, Toyota, Suzuki, Ford ....) but I waited until last to look at the FIT.
The 2008 sold me, but when the 2009 was introduced, there was no doubt which I would buy. I drive 54 miles to work everyday, one way. The comfort of the 2009 won me over, but the gas mileage also tipped the scale.
I don't know if this it the PC thing to say or not, but I think the GD has more of a "RICE" feel and people want to tune it, change it. Look what we GE guys seem to want to do, convenience things that will help on the road to work, not on the track.
Of course thats just my opinion.
