Also a full size spare wheel, translucent lighting up hazard switch, and rear disc brakes.

No problem, but that's an "o".
I fixed it!

And you have Cerulean Blue, which is a smashing color!

I wouldn't think there would be any reason why you couldn't mount the strips where ever you wanted.

I like the colour too. I ticked the box for the strips and the dealer fitted and painted them.

I guess if I'd thought about it, I could have bought them later and fitted them myself, but I would have still needed them painted. They aren't even black unpainted, they're a kind of icky grey colour.

Sorry its not a great picture...but you can see that they blend with the car nicely.

Idefinitely recommend them. I had the dealer do it , very nice!

Thanks JDM - neat to see a pic of my car with the summer wheels, all clean, shiny, etc. It's had the OEM's with snows on it now since Thanksgiving and been filthy most of that time. CANNOT WAIT for spring to come - fully detail & poly the car -and ride my bike somewhere other than my basement!

AP ONE - I sent you a PM response earlier this evening with a different pic, but the pics in my Picasa album JDM linked above are actually better.

Save the money, too, and make it a DIY! Not hard at all.

Check at the link in the signature - you can see the body side moldings in a lot of the pictures at Webshots. Mine is white as well - hope it helps.

There are different styles that can be bought aftermarket too. Flatter or wider. Some have a chrome insert, which could be a nice touch of shine.

My last car was white and after about 16 years of owning it, it got very few side dings, thanks to the strip that was on it. But it got plenty of rock chips on the front and some along the edge of the door from opening my car door into the grocery cart. And every single chip rusts.

Even invisible chips rust. Ones that are so small that the only time I could see there was any rusting going on was if it wasn't washed and got wet.

It's one of those "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" kind of things.

I think that they visually lengthen the car, and offer some protection from parking lot dings. They're easy to install, and a bunch cheaper from Bernardi's as a DIY. Prepainted, and with templates for location, it's pretty easy to do.
Not including them on the vehicle is some Honda philosophy thing; a buddy's mega-buck Acura only had them as an option ('Looks sleeker without them' quoth the salesperson).

I checked out the zeta and meh it doesn't look good imho.. the flat molding just doesn't look good to me. But I'm sure its each to its own taste.

I've had great success with Bernardi, even if they don't like the Steelers.

We got ours from handa-accessories.com but we have also used CollegeHillsHonda.com for other things and like both. At the time we purchased them Handa had our color in stock and CHH was back ordered.
