one really deep drive ways I have to creep a bit sideways, if I forget it scrapes...my Audi was actually lower(as well as being longer) than my Fit so I had more issues in that sucker than this one...no issues on speed bumps so far, even ones I use to scrape in my Audi.

GF-210, 07 model...there is a rumor that this did not fit(although Iver read that the shocks dont work which would make more sense, well it did. the Ride quality is still good, but I do notice that the back end is a bit on the bouncy side...I dare say that the OE shocks I have will probably blow eventually(they seem to handling it pretty well so far though), but Im not worried becaus at that point someone will come out with a stiffer shock to mate with the stiffer springs...the increase from OEM to the GF's is estimated at 20-30% since the GE is less than 100 pounds heavier than the DG, Im feeling as though the OE shocks can handle the extra bounce for a decent amount of time. But that is my speculation and should not be taken as a fact.

Those are some very nice looking wheels!! I did have to laugh when I read about the company, and wonder if they are " Born in the USA." Get a laugh here.

Awesomeness!

Thanks for this thread!

I can visuallize now how my 17x7 +43 rims would look like with either 205/45/17s or 215/40/17s dropped. (still deciding)

There was a local guy selling his Rota Torque in Bronze 17x7.5j ET45 with 215/45/17 and I went along to test fit as I was really interested in them

here was my post on the local forum after test fit with pics

Offset seems alright

But sooooooo gutted they rubbed

Maybe different size tyres may clear it but it defeats the objective of buying these as the tyres are a good make and condition is top notch.
To any potential buyers, it was a pleasure meeting up with Andy and hes a really canny and geniune guy and I wish him all the best with the sale- just so gutted I couldnt buy them off him as they really suited my car.
Not sure if 215/40/17 would rub? or the fact they were 7.5j?

wow blast from the past, haven't seen this post in forever...

to recap the springs are GF-210 GD application. Yes they fit. but I do feel that the front end is kinda on the bouncy side. I do get scrapping on the front end lower portion of the lip if its a good size dip but I think most would, I do get rubbing on my wheelwell on a bump/dip on th e freeway, after I got tires that were a bit more square on the side wall. I'm going to be installing GE application springs(Megan) as I got them pretty cheap off a memeber here, and looking to even out the stance a bit more.

Power121 if you want these springs Im gonna sell them after I install the Megans. Probably for a pretty big discounted price...

Fact or fiction?
not sure how true that is, I did not notice there was a selection issue when I was wheel shopping. but that was a while back.
