Fogging up due to not being sealed up properly( lets water in ).. also plastic scratches and turns yellowish after a few months... .most Japanese GE6/8 users will not touch them... food for thought
My aftermarket tail lights have never fogged up or let in water. I wash my car all the time, NO PROBLEMS at all. As for going yellowish, I don't know because I smoked the clear lenses.

That might just be the fix for the clear parts turning yellowish...

Yeh, I tried a set of the all smoked Axis from my supplier first, but the red and clear lenses were too dark for me. Much darker than they look in the pic.

If your after market lights do mist up at all, just drill a 1mm hole in the bottom of the light where it can't be seen. I had to do this with my 2000 Civic coupe OEM Lights and it did the job. Even some OEM lights mist up.

Yeah they look way too dark on the car, but maybe some folks might like that!

Thumbs up

There are a lot of nice looking OEM and aftermarket tails, and with self smoking out, a lot of variations. Great thread!

The JDM Base Non-LED Tail Lights have caught my eye for a while now. They get my vote. It would be sweet if they made the same exact look but in LED. Do they?
