How can I stick cables on the dashboard?
I have a two cables hanging from the aux/usb glove to the driver's quadrent window and would like to make them stick to the dashboard without ruining the dashboard. Is there a good product that wont mess up my dashboard but will keep the cables in place? Or can I go underneath the dash somehow? I'm a car n00b, sorry.

Do you have an 08 model? I have an 09.
I don't have access to my car right now, but do I have to take off the dashboard in order to insert the cable or is there a slit there?
Thanks!

Not to take anything away from Craig, the "I hate Velcro!" guy, but in my '07 Sport, for the cord for my GPS mounted to the left of the steering whee, I used 2" wide black Velcro adhesive strips. I wrapped the cord at appropriate places with one layer of the soft "loop"-side Velcro, and made the Velcro covering permanent and hear proof with a small black plastic zip tie at each end of each area covered with the Velcro.
Then I used patches of the "hook" side Velcro spaced out along the underside of the dash to match the positions of the "loop"-side wraps on the cord. This method kept the cord out of the way when in use, but made it very easy to take off to stash it in the glove box any time I was not using, or removed for security in a parking lot, the GPS unit.
On '09s, there are notches in the very front edges of the center console where cables can be wedged, and the plastic tray under the driver side dash is easy to string cables through the gaps so that the cords are not hanging down. The rubber molding along the A pillar is very easy to pry up so that you can wedge MP3 player cords inside the molding. I use an Iriver Clix 8 gig player that I attach to my sun visor, and the cord is only visible where it plugs into the front auxiliary port on the head unit. In parking lots, the player stays attached to the sun visor, and I just raise the visor up to the roof to hide the player.
