Brilliant shot!

Can you provide some thoughts on the springs now that you've had them a while? Ride, handling, etc.? How does it handle loaded with 4 people, or significant weight in the trunk?

The ride quality is great. It likes to be pushed around corners hard yet it's still civilized enough for the sh!tty roads we have up here. It's a lot better than stock on the highway, especially when it comes to cross winds. I had the car loaded with stuff or 4 adults a few times and I didn't bottom out ever. I didn't cut the bump stops when I did the install cause I was pressed for time and I haven't noticed any bad side effects so far.

I sold my T1R shift knob to another member on here. I'm waiting for a Carbing knob from Japan. My short shift was about $80CDN.

Car still looks good!

I know I asked before about your springs, and how you liked them, as I was simply curious.

I was intending to purchase Swift springs, and I noticed in another thread you mentioned that they were among your favorites.

Do you rate the S-coils as highly? Or would you prefer your Fit to have the qualities you experienced in other Swift sprung cars you've been in?

Thanks again, and I hope to see more pics from your buildup in the future.

^^The T1R S-coils are a pretty good spring all around. They lower the car nicely and they are civilized enough for daily driving. The Swift springs are better in my opinion (Although I haven't tried the Fit one) but they don't lower the car enough. Plus, I was getting tired of waiting for Swift to release their springs...they kept pushing the dates. I don't even know if they're available yet?!?!

Yup, they're available

I was planing to order some in a week, and then I saw what you had written in another thread and remembered that you were on S-coils.

Figured I'd bug you some more

The only thing making me hesitate is the spring rate seems high if the numbers are correct on the kingmotorsports.com site.

Don't know if I really want the car to be that much stiffer; then again people with Swift springs always comment on ride quality.

Anyway, thanks again for the responses, much appreciated.

I feel like buying some Swift springs now just to compare them with my T1Rs.
