Around $200 for the Carbon/Kevlar bits.... and around $550 for the Modified JDM tails with smoked upper plastic and lower LED section..

I must say, those taillights are definitely doable. Eliminating my side mirrors with a delete panel, not so much

those Kevlar pieces will not eliminate your side mirrors. They are the two plastic panels in front of the A pillar glass

I agree about the doability. I was thinking about taking apart the taillights and smoking the inside upper portion exactly like the picture...of course, sans the LEDs. I would buy them of course if I could afford them.

Oh well, I guess its another DIY w/ my Tamiya Transparent Smoke spray can. Thanks JDM for sharing the pics

I would love to do the taillights, if there was room in my budget.

Unfortunately, after
  • Christmas spending
  • A recent vacation
  • My new '09 Fit
  • A new plasma TV
  • $1300 in accessories, etc. for my new Fit (tint, Clearbra, cargo cover, center console armrest, cargo organizer)
  • A new Kenwood headunit w/ nav that I have my eye on

I'm pretty well broke now...

Those brake lights are awesome. I'll probably invest in them some time.

Is putting in new rear lights difficult?

a bit off topic, but is there a difference between the JDM and the USDM int. LED illum. kit?

The lights are really nice. It's funny how some Aveos have LED lights rear lights while the Fit doesn't.

I bought my 09 Fit as a DD so that I don't have to drive my money pit every day. I must try to resist making the Fit a second money pit so no $550 tail lights for me.

However, if the Fit was my only car, no question, I would be all over those tail lights.

Question

Which ones are the completely red taillights with the 2 small white sections (I'm guessing for signal, and reverse). Are those the base JDM ones?

Where can you view all the different style taillights available for the GE8?
