I think I'm in love

Tork, what year RX-7 did you have? I had the '93 R-1. I imagine you had one of that generation. Now talk about rough ride!!!! The Fit is even now prolly the softest riding car I've owned.

I'm more and more thrilled with my Fit as time goes by also! The car is fun to drive and it looks great too! I'm going outside in a few minutes to check on my Fit because it's snowing here, and I want to make sure none of my neighbors slid into it..... I HATE snow in this city - there's too many hills and I don't want to wreck my new baby....:-(

400 + HP.....lots of fun until I blew an apex seal and burned a rotor and rotor housing......twice......at $3900 each time.......taking off the pre-cat, adding a down pipe let the turbos spool up too fast and you would over boost. Way fun though. Loved the R1 in that metallic yellow!
I had an 89 Porsche 944 turbo S, I shoulda kept that car and skipped the RX altogether now that I think about it!

Yes, I know the Peter Farrell makeovers. Mine was pretty much a stock black R-1. This was my only non-Honda owned, and too bad it was in the shop every week and a half. I had it for only 10 months - decided to get out of it before the warranty expired and I would have to shell out big bucks in maintenance/repair. I was averaging 1,000 miles a week!!

i'm trying my best to keep the fit in tiptop shape so i can hand it to my son as his first car.......... but i'm in no rush since my son won't turn 16 for 14 more years. ........... But i love this car for its gas consumption, compact but lots of room, easy to drive, and low maintenance.
